We had a fantastic day , our guide Stuart was very knowledgeable, friendly and funny with a good playlist of music for us to enjoy on the small but comfortable tour bus .Our stop offs for photos and refreshments along the way were enough for us not to feel rushed but able to take in the beautiful scenery of this country ,stopping at Inverrary was a highlight for me .I love a castle and we also could go to the Inverrary jail , lunch in Oban for a taste of fresh Scottish seafood, delicious! Then through the majestic Glen Coe where we had more photos. This tour was well planned, enough time to see and photograph to capture the memories and did not at all feel like the 10 and a half hour trip . Would highly recommend this tour and company. We will definitely use them again , worth every penny !

The tour across Scotland was amazing, as was the country itself. Our guide, Billy, was wonderful and made our trip truly unforgettable. We love Scotland and your beautiful country. Thank you for an amazing experience!

Honestly it was 75% driving and 25% touring. I get that the highlands are far and there isn’t really a way to cut the driving out, but I think the bus was so small and completely full that it just made it not enjoyable. Lots of stops were “photo” only stops - meaning get out of the bus take pictures for 5 mins, then get back in the bus. I would say spend more time in the two “towns” we saw. Out lunch break was only 90 mins - so we had time to eat, but not enough time to do the castle tour. I think they are trying to add value by packing in more sites, but it ended up making it worse. Less is more in this case I think.

Our guide Scott was absolutely amazing! He kept the journey interesting and fun!
We wish that the stays in a few places were just a little bit longer in order to have time to visit gift shops.
Other than that five stars! Wonderful experience!

A great experience - I went on the 3-day trip to the Highlands and Skye. Our guide Scott was very knowledgeable and above all the life of the party, bringing energy and fun during this wonderful journey. Everything was perfectly organized, the van super spacious and confortable, and the 3-day trip allowed us to really enjoy the most of this part of Scotland. I would definitely recommand !
On a side note, the Discover Scotland team was also extremely helpful in helping me on a side matter - I forgot something at a B&B during the tour, and they managed to retrieve it and send it back to me. Really great reactivity, communication and support. Thank you again !

This was such a fun experience and the highlight of the trip!! The views were wonderful, the stops were awesome, but it was really the tour guide who made this trip. We had “wee Stevie” and Donald of course who was incredibly knowledgeable, a ton of fun, and kept everything organized and entertaining. Truly truly recommend

Gary was an amazing and knowledgeable guide. This was by far the best excursion we had while visiting Scotland. We really appreciate his humor and gift bags. Thanks for a wonderful trip.

Kept on time all day - John did a lot of driving but we felt safe with him and he provided good commentary

Our tour guide ‘Big Allan’ was great, he kept us well informed on things to look out for as they were coming up, his knowledge of the history and local areas was tremendous, his driving skills were great and kept safe and amused all day😀

Our tour guide and driver, Johnny, was great! He was very knowledgeable about Scotland, the Highlands, and so much more. Johnny was punctual and kept us on schedule. A very pleasant fellow. We had a small tour group which allowed for everyone to get their questions answered and for a very personal and enjoyable experience. The Scottish Highlands are an amazing place to visit and explore! I would recommend this tour and Discover Scotland as the company to choose for your highlands tour!

Great and experienced driver with great knowledge of the history of the region which works as such an added bonus of your tour guide as well. The well curated itinerary makes sure you can see enough attractions without being rushed or just herded though.
This is my second time with them and would recommend it to anyone trying for the Isle of Skye trip.

The tour was perfect. I asked for a quick stop to see the Hairy coos. Sandy suggested a great place for lunch. He was so kind. We saw so much.

This was a once in a lifetime tour and we will always remember it. Our tour guide, Big Al, made the experience even more memorable. He was informative, knowledgeable, and entertaining. We always felt safe, secure, and comfortable. The tour provided enough time to experience each of the stops which were all incredible. Will definitely book again with Discover Scotland!

Trip of a Lifetime! The Highlands and Skye are amazing places, and Scott, our guide, was wonderful! Very knowledgeable and he made sure we were to where we needed to be on time. He threw in unexpected additions to our itinerary (like an unscheduled stop at Talisker Distillery since we had time and were right there). When an accident meant the final day needed to be rerouted, he managed to fill the day with different experiences. Then he collaborated with a different Discover Scotland bus to split our group and get us back to Glasgow earlier than expected, which was great because we were tired.

We went on the Glenfinnan Viaduct Tour from Glasgow and our tour guide Scott was really great! I hope he actually was employed by Discovery Scotland though, since he drove the bus like he has stolen it on those small curvy roads 😉.
Only reason for not giving it 5 star is the lunch stop in Fort Williams. We passed the city center and stopped at a restaurant with a whooping 1.7 star review on Google (see for yourselves at "West Highland Restaurant" and read the reviews). It was located quite far away in Fort Williams and it was the only place to eat or buy anything within a 15 minute walk, for our one hour break.
So I'd suggest anyone taking this tour to pack their own lunch bag instead until Discovery Scotland changes the stop for lunch to a better place.
