ORDER THE LITTLE GIANT PUMP ON SUNDAY, IT ARRIVED ON TUESDAY. TUESDAY NIGHT WE HAVE NOTICED THAT THE PRODUCT IS FAULTY. I HAVE IMMEDIATELY CONTACTED THE COMPANY TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY MORNING (TODAY)... THEY HAVE YET TO REPLY, I WANT TO ARRANGE A RETURN AND SUDDENLY THEIR SALES TEAM CAN'T REPLY. I ACTUALLY, JUST WANT A REPLACEMENT TO SOMETHING FIT FOR PURPOSE. I HAVE A LAW FIRM AND I AM A LAWYER, IF I HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THIS BUSINESS BY TOMORROW, I WILL ESCALATE MATTERS AS FURTHER.
I ordered some Cyanuric acid and messaged that I needed it to take abroad and needed a quick delivery. I ordered on the 3rd of July received next day. Great service and turnaround. Would defo use them again.

I bought a Little Giant APC pool cover pump on April 29 2020. It was delivered beginning of May. Today June 1, 13 months later, I call Discount Pool Products as the pump has failed. I asked whether they would replace the pump as it is just out of guarentee. They said No. I pointed out that a product still has to be fit for pupose under the Consumer Rights Act and one year lifes span for a product is not reasonable. Their representaive explained that it was a cheap product ( £190 ) and made in china so in which case a one year life span was reasonable. I pointed out that another UK company was offering 3 yeras guarentee. This he ignored but agreed that in the USA 3 years is offered but their climate is better than ours ( really? how about Minnesota?- freezing winters hot summers) I asked if they would contact the manufacturer and ask for a refund. The answer was no. I asked if they would help at all and the answer was no. I told them that I would not purchase. any product from them again and he repiled that's fine. I also told him that he should put a disclaimer on the website saying that due to our climate consumers should not expect a product to last more than a year. No comment from the rep. The only good thing about the experience is that the exchange was polite. I could pursue this through consumer rights act but companies know that this is very time comsuming and that we won't which is why they get away with denying us the spirit of the law. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 offers protection against faulty goods even when the manufacturer's guarantee has run out. The act says goods must last a reasonable time - and that can be anything up to six years from the date of purchase. Other companies do offer 3 year warrenty on this product. I will not purchase from this company again.
