Samantha Vella is a scam artist. Charged my card TWICE, has never responded to my emails, never sent my order. During a cost of living crisis how am I meant to pay the bills when my card is charged randomly with no warning. I will be pursuing legal action

If I could give a no star review I would. Similar to many other people here, I paid in full via direct debit (that should've made me pause, as I'd paid in the past with PayPal, but that was no longer available). I have loyally purchased Moira cosmetics from them (one of my fave beauty brands) for a few years and now...crickets. So many emails, I posted on Insta, FB. I've even made YT videos about this VERY shady business. They seem to be grey market. I lost nearly $200AUD.

Has anyone goy an address for this company. Or details of Samantha Vella. They need a knock on the door. If anyone give me the correct details. I’ll gladly get you money back plus interest.

I'd ordered from them back in '22 and had no issues. I placed an order in '24 and never received my items. Never got a follow-up email. I sent a message to their contact info and got no reply. Do not buy from them; it's as if the whole place shuttered the store but kept the online shop open to cash grab and scam. $82 stolen from me.

This is a scam site. Order never arrived. I contacted the company via email.

I have paid via bank deposit like they say for my order I placed 8 weeks ago and made contact via email 3 times asking where my order is with no reply just finding out im not the only one still waiting I am almost going crazy. I'll just stick to ebay learnt my lesson the hard way. Merry Christmas cockheads hope you feel really good about taking people money

I don’t know if you could even call this a business because it’s absolute garbage and a scam. Please don’t purchase anything from this website because you’re basically throwing away your money into a landfill. Honestly though, if you already have been scammed by them, contact your bank and get that bank dispute girl. My order from December 30th 2023 is still processing, like girl it’s the 6th of November 2024 now 💀 Don’t be delusional like me thinking you’ll be one of the “lucky” ones that will receive their order.

I ordered products from this terrible company ONE YEAR ago and did not receive the order or get my money back. I received a few emails at first with various excuses - it was a postal problem, then a problem with the fulfillment center...but now I'm just being ignored whenever I ask what's going on. Terrible customer service.

I order some products from this site over 11 months ago.

I still have not received those products OR the refund I requested.

I am so disappointed by this outcome because they are (supposedly) a Gold Coast company & I live in Brisbane.
I was also meet with (frankly) some very lame excuses, as to why I hadn't received my products or refund.

I wish I could give them either a half or no star - very upset by my experience!!

I have been a long time customer of discount beauty boutique with an account and have had no issues until this last year.
My order did take a long time to arrive however, their website states that there are warehousing issues currently. I can only imagine how stressful that would be while trying to manage hundreds of orders. After a few months I did receive my order with all items accounted for, everything was packaged well and all the items are in good condition and quality. I understand there are many bad reviews right now, however; DBB are legit, everyone in Australia are in tough times right now and a little patience can help go a long way.

I have used DBB for a number of years without any major issues. The odd shipping delay and missed items but overall pretty good value and service.
Decided to place an order recently but no payment options would work after trying several times over 10days or so. Emailed a few times before getting a response saying they were having technical issues but bank deposit was available. Asked when it would be resolved as not interested in that as in NZ and "silence".
Ended up ordering directly from Moira - seemless purchase and items arrived in a week.
Then I got really curious on why what was an awesome site isn't anymore and found all these reviews. Something has definitely gone horribly wrong there which is a real shame.
Scam site - no. No longer an honest trustworthy site - absolutely.

Fortunately I only spent ~$40 with this scam company, I see so many other victims here who spent way more. I ordered some items between xmas and new year 2023-24 and now it's August and GUESS WHAT: no items, dodgy 'we are experiencing high demand' messages and then no refund, no further communication. The morally bankrupt F*•K#rs just emailed me with a 'thank you for subscribing' message out of the blue just now with a code, encouraging me to shop again: I did not just subscribe, and I have not miraculously forgotten that you stole from me, all it did was remind me to write this review warning others so CONGRATULATIONS you shady operators, on one more nail in your coffin. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE, THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND THEN EMAIL YOU A CODE MONTHS LATER SO THAT THEY CAN STEAL FROM ALL YOU OVER AGAIN.

Scam company, no response after order. Scam website. Made an order and after 1 month i recieved no response back on dispatch. After countless emails I never got any response. Disputed with my bank for refund. Do not use the website or make any orders. Samantha Vella, the owner in is a scam artist.

There should be a zero rating for this company. Unfortunately like everyone else, I placed an order and have not received it. They have stopped replying to my emails. I have now reported them to fair trading. I cannot understand how this company is still operating and stealing peoples money. DO NOT USE THEM EVER

Purchased $216 worth of cosmetics back in December 2023 not received a single item nor a refund, they're scammers for sure. I have begun my attemps at getting refunded and I won't stop until i get it because people shouldn't be losing money like this! This is unnaceptable you should be ashamed of yourself Samantha Vella!!!

I would rate them 0 if I could. Avoid this site at all costs!! Purchased from this store plenty of times with no issues, then I placed an order in October 2023 and have never received it. Have sent many emails with no response. Went to fair trading and unfortunately there’s nothing they can do about it. Spend your money at glam raider, or Sephora… anywhere but this site because they will scam you out of your hard earned money. Incredibly disappointed.

I'd give this company 0 stars if i could. Absolutely disappointing and sad. Bought items and never received them and kept getting ridiculous excuses of why things were not getting done. Seems like a ponzi scheme in the works. but why?!

Never sent my order. Had to complete a charge back with the bank. 2 months later they just took money from my Account and I had to cancel my card and do another charge back. I don't understand how this company is still open. DO NOT USE.

Absolutely terrible experience.

I am only thankful that I spent a considerably small sum on this “business” to test a product for my mother in law.

I placed my order on 10th January and to date have not received a refund or my product.

Josie, is practically repeating the same scenario as everyone else as using delay tactics to get me to stop requesting my money back.

I would never recommend this business to anyone - please shop elsewhere.
