everything is forced insurance that is…

everything is forced insurance that is not needed plus extra costs for cancellation etc. was worthless and tourist scam. krilo does not do that. criminal behavior and we are kind of locals who have been coming here for 50 years

Absolutely disgusting company to deal…

Absolutely disgusting company to deal with. Terms and conditions state £10 to change passenger / car details, yet they quote £25 when you try to process and hope you haven't checked. Added two passengers to my vehicle for a ferry crossing, they incorrectly put one passenger twice, and tried to charge me to put their mistake correct. Updating car details as I will be taking a different car, that's another £25 until I challenged it. No customer service team to call, just an online bot. Will be booking direct with Red Funnel in future, absolute cowboys and extortion.

Thank you for your feedback. We’ve reviewed your booking and can confirm that the first change request was made in October 2024, for which a £10 amendment fee was applied, in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.

A second request was submitted on 06/06 to update the vehicle registration, and again a £10 fee was charged. Please note that amendment fees are set by the ferry operator, and we are required to apply them as part of their booking policy. Unfortunately, we are not able to waive these fees. This is clearly outlined in our T&Cs during the booking process.

We do understand your frustration and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. Your comments have been noted and will be shared with the relevant teams to support ongoing service improvements.

Bad score

I give a low score because I feel robbed. By applying for a membership by the ferry compagnie I could have gotten a 25 percent discount on the crossing. I was not aware of that possibility.

Missing Human interaction at Direct Ferries or more smart Bot

We booked a ticket via Direct Ferries - everything went smooth - payment, process even the changes 1 hour later. Problem is we paid for the ticket voor de Øresund Bridge Pass (Malmo to Copenhagen) but we didn't receive the ticket. So as instructed asking help from the Direct Ferries "helpfull" bot - but that leads to no where. 30 minutes later still no answer that this Bot keeps asking an providing the same response. Is there a human at Direct Ferries who can help me locate the Øresund Bridge Pass ticket I paid for?

Samuel came to my rescue. Super thanks Samuel for sending me the ticket and solving our problem. :-) A Double thumbs up to you! I understand that the bot is of great help. But, not sure it would work because its not my expertise, perhaps it's possible to program the bot so that if I keep asking to restart the conversation (because the information I seek is not there) the bot can redirect me to a human or give me other alternatives. For today Samuel of Direct Ferries is the BEST! :-)

De beslissing om al onze contacten via het web te laten verlopen in plaats van telefonisch, is genomen zodat we ondersteuning kunnen bieden in meer talen en dringende contacten beter kunnen triëren. No contact details only an AI Bot

Had an issue with car. Try to reach them, could not. Only an aI bot. So horrible when traveling and in stress!!! The website gavd no info and no number. Booked a new ticket, with not same company. Then they called me back. Too late and ticket not refundable.

We bieden onze excuses aan voor de verwarring over het ticket- en incheckproces. Ongeveer 7 dagen voor vertrek ontvangt u een e-mail van de veerbootmaatschappij om online in te checken. Na het online inchecken op hun website kunt u uw instapkaarten downloaden. Als u de e-mail niet ontvangt of niet online kunt inchecken, zal de veerbootmaatschappij u automatisch 3 dagen voor vertrek inchecken en u de instapkaarten per e-mail sturen.

Als u ondersteuning nodig heeft bij uw boeking, kunt u op elk moment contact met ons opnemen via onze messenger, zowel binnen Mijn Account als ons helpcentrum door te klikken op de 'Help'-knop in de rechteronderhoek: https://help.directferries.com/hc/nl

120min before departure for…

120min before departure for “footpassengers” is ridiculous and waste of time, and on top of that you are delayed with almost an hour. Also the border controls are awfully inefficiënt. Queing yet another hour before getting off the boat is not exactly welcomming tourists to spend time and money in Marocco.
