The system is easy to understand, however, instead of "return", it should be "round trip". When I was booking, I did not understand it very well, so I made two single journeys instead of "return".... See more

The booking process was easy. Great experience although unclear how to book a two-way trip (you have to click twice it seems). But the company (NLG) was very unclear on where to wait for their boat.... See more

Trip to Italy and Sicily

Booking and checking routes was easy. Timings were obvious and closing to have cancellation cover was a good idea. I was able to change some bookings without any problems. Staff are really helpful.

Return trip to Ireland

I found the booking process a bit clumsy. Choosing a different port for the return trip was not straightforward. The price charged on my credit card was around £8 more than I was quoted, without any explanation of the breakdown.

Reply from Direct Ferries

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback.

We're sorry to hear that you found the booking process less straightforward than expected, particularly when selecting a different return port. We also understand your concern regarding the difference between the quoted price and the amount charged.

We've reviewed your booking and can confirm that the total amount charged was correct. The difference you noticed relates to the booking fees and any selected options, which are included in the final total before payment is completed. We understand that a clearer breakdown of the charges would be helpful, and we'll ensure your comments are shared with the relevant team as we continue to improve the booking experience.

Kind regards,
Direct Ferries

A total scam

A total scam, we booked ticket for 22.july, and then, they changed it to 23.july. little did I know, that they have sendt 2 simmilar mail, with short period, so i did not notice the difference. And because we did not have insurance, they did not refund, or change. All this happened within a time frame of half-hour. And then not answering at all. We are flying from Norway, and we have booked hotel in Curfu in 22.July.
This is a scam, and by unthinkable and unethical way they make you pay more. This an untical service, and unethical human working there. This website should and must be boycotted.
