We had a horrendous experience with DID after choosing them to supply and install all of the kitchen appliances for our new build.
Our installation was booked for mid-June, but despite going through all of the specifications for our kitchen with the sales team beforehand, they still ordered the wrong size fridge. The oven also arrived with a damaged door, and the extractor fan wasn't even included with the order.
The fridge was eventually replaced with the correct size, and the damaged oven was also replaced. However, we had to continually chase DID ourselves to get the replacement arranged rather than them proactively resolving the issue.
Unfortunately, the fitter who carried out the installation was extremely unprofessional. He left integrated panels sticking out well beyond the kitchen housing and simply said there was nothing he could do because it was already installed. To make matters worse, he damaged our new flooring, leaving multiple chips throughout the area.
Communication from DID was just as disappointing. We contacted them several times to report the issues, but were repeatedly told, "We'll call you back," and nobody ever did. When I chased the matter again and tried to explain how frustrated we were with the entire experience, the shift manager actually hung up on me.
We also paid for full installation of our washing machine and dryer, but neither was installed. The integrated dishwasher wasn't installed either because the fitter claimed it "wasn't part of his job." We had to pay an independent installer to complete the work, and he commented that the installation that had been carried out was of an incredibly poor standard.
Eventually, the missing extractor fan was made available, but instead of delivering it as they should have, we were expected to collect it ourselves.
Overall, this was an extremely stressful and disappointing experience from start to finish. Between incorrect orders, damaged products, poor workmanship, damage to our property, lack of communication, and paying extra to have work completed that we had already paid DID for, I cannot recommend them.
I would strongly advise anyone considering DID to look elsewhere, even if it costs a little more. In our experience, paying extra elsewhere would have been far cheaper than dealing with the time, stress, and additional expense we incurred.

We visited the Finglas store today for a power Bank charger. Our server was Emma who was very helpful, friendly and kind to us. She gave great advice and recommended various products that we enquired about. Overall our experience was smooth and quick.
Was in killarney store today and had the most helpful young man Oisin help me. He had great advice for me when I didn’t know exactly what I needed.
The young salesperson in the Clonmel was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. I made a follow up call on Friday just to check delivery and again he was so helpful on the phone and delivery arrived on Friday as promised. Then I met Johnny and Alec who delivered and fitted the oven. They couldn’t have been more efficient and pleasant. Overall the total experience received top marks in my opinion. Well done. I’m delighted with my purchase at DID and will definitely be back again .
