I have waited and waited and waited for…

I have waited and waited and waited for this company to collect a tv I rented as my circumstances had changed!! They agreed no issues two months down the line I’m still waiting and they are still taking payments off my card even though the tv is not being used and the fact it’s stored awaiting collection. This morning I have woken to get a second payment this week to have been taken and not for the normal amount but for £90.00 no advice if this or pre warning or even reason for it either!! And not to mention today is not my payment day! They have not communicated and seem like they do not read emails or communications correctly!! It had left me in financial hardship and my bank can not rectify this either. I have had emails from this so called company telling me a payment of £0.00 will be taken etc etc but yet take £14.99 every week and then the £89.79 today when the contract has been terminated by myself!!!! And the product can no longer be used as it’s locked and has been for nearly two months!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! They say one thing then do another clearly and then don’t comply with your contract DISGUSTING!!! I have now opened a fraud case with monies they have been taking and what they have done today with evidence of their emails of saying £0 will be taken on payment dates. Pray on vulnerable people clearly but then drop the ball with payment statements they send out to customers but take money irregardless

Absolutely rubbish!

Absolutely rubbish! Don’t waste your money! I had a washer but had to phone them out twice to change it as they absolutely stunk and was in a terrible condition! I ended up telling them to pick up the last washer and just brought one from Argos.

This company needs reporting to trading…

This company needs reporting to trading standards. I RENTED what was like in pictures a lovely new tumble dryer. It turned up and delivery man installed when he called for me to look it was disgusting banged up dirty rusty not new. He turned it on to check and it didn't work. I complained to him and he said you do not get new they are recon. I thought more like it was dumped somewhere. It took drier away and cancelled contract but the company still kept trying to take money all different amounts on different days. My bank blocked the company and nothing else went out. I got my 3 month bank statement today and they have been taking money again. I contacted bank and it turn out this slum company had TWEEKED the name slightly and restarted taking payments at times trying 2 t0 3 times a day all different amounts. I have now had to change my account number at bank to stop these thieves that have stolen over time near £200

Not Impressed with Customer Service - POOR

Hi
Thanks DIAL TV for a faulty machine which now will not WORK - it fuses the rest of the house out!!!! Not fit for purpose - fed up with the amount of washing machines I do go through...

I leave msgs you do not call back - I AM FED UP - I sent an email and you tell me to call so I do and you do not get back to me.

I would like the details of your complaints procedure and your ombudsman service and I would like to make a complaint. I have also left msgs with staff and they say your department is busy and no one gets back to me.

So I guess I just have to wait weeks and weeks for a washing machine - I can't say new because you do not offer them but just second hand machines that are a death trap!!!

As a customer of many many years who pays bills on time your service is awful - what is happening to your company...

SO THANKS FOR LEAVING ME WITHOUT A WASHING MACHINE!!!

Money grabbers not good tech

Well for starters I owe 15 pounds a month not missed a payment yet, however now charging me 29 pounds without informing me first of the reason why and I have sent countless emails without any reply and I’m really really not wanting to be a customer now if they are going to keep trying to take 29 pounds out as I get minimal money I need to know a reason before this happens like the rest of us it is not on at all especially when I don’t know the hell why it’s gone up when I haven’t missed a payment money grabbing so n so n so I think I’m going to cancel my agreement n buy a laptop out right it’s cheaper plus my laptop isn’t great anyhow for how much money I pay sort it out before I report it on further websites

Do not use dial a tv!!

A got a washer in september last year that did not work so waited nearly 3 weeks for a replacement. The replacement washer works fine but then for some reason dial a tv stopped taking payments from my bank account and I had not noticed until I was in arrears by £107 .
Dial a tv agreed they had made a mistake and said I would still need to pay the arrears so they upped my weekly payment to £10. After a few weeks I had to get a replacement bank card and because dial a tv were unable to take a payment they thought it be a good idea to take the full amount of arrears from me when I did ring up with my new bank details without my authority. I have tried to get refunded the money as they took it without authority but to no avail.

AVOID LAPTOPS !!!

Do not under any circumstances, rent a laptop. Had one off this company and it had so many faults. So rang them to explain and requested a replacement. This one is even worse. Turns itself off. Very often its unresponsive. Its extremely slow. I have been in touch with them but every time l ring they start the contract again. Absolutely terrible. They obviously are not upgraded, just wiped and sent out again. AVOID.

Save your money and buy new instead!! Do not use this company

Absolutely disgusting service :( I’ve had five condenser tumble dryers sent in the past two months, three in the space of a week. The delivery drivers simply bring them to to your house, place their hand in the drum for a second and then are on their way. They clearly aren’t being tested in the warehouses properly. After this happening for the fifth time, I once again called to complain, Dial a Tv said they would send a new tumblr dryer out, asked would I be happy with one under a year old. Obviously I would be as that is what should be being sent out on first place. An hour into dryer being on, goes out to get laundry and it still wet :( so I googled the serial number of the tumble dryer, it says it was discontinued back in 2012!!! So much for under 12 months old. I’m seriously unhappy and Dial a Tv will not be getting a penny more from me. Save up your money and buy brand new for £150. Get it insured and you will be covered. I’ve wasted so much time in launderettes on my weekends off work due to their unprofessional service, that could have been spent with my family. I will be reporting them to the ombudsman.

What a shameful company

What a shameful company, I’ve rented a tumble dryer for over 8 years, I phoned up to change direct debit details as I did with all my other companies, they said they couldn’t do it over the phone and would have to send a form out by post, I never got the form but did get a letter saying I was behind with a payment I rang them and explained I hadn’t received a form, she said they’d forgot do I said just take the dryer back, they only collect during office hours when I’m at work so now they’re saying I could be prosecuted for withholding goods, I’ve told them to take it on numerous occasions

Been a customer for 4 years

We have been using Dial a TV for about 4 years.
They provide us with w/machines and electric cookers for properties that we let around the country.
They deliver new appliances, install and remove packaging from site.

They also offer a repair or replacement service when the appliance becomes faulty.
I've found dealing with a few of their regular drivers/ installers friendly and very helpful.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Should not be allowed to trade :(( they only send refurbished goods then if a fault occurs, they send a faulty replacement. Items clearly aren’t being tested, I’m at a complete loss, they prey on vulnerable families. Quick to take money but feel as if I am throwing it away, paying for broken items, not only is this an inconvenience but it is a fire hazard as tripped my electrics. Not happy one bit!!!!

Poor service, wrong priorities

If you are in need due to credit issues you have little choice. BUT do not expect service to be good, they are very short staffed on the service section yet their collections team can harass you several times a day and when you answer the phone they cut you off as must be on a call cycle. Ive spent over £1500 in 5 years, been waiting on a resolved issue for 12 months and all they are interested in doing is collecting £19 arrears. This company seriously has its priorities wrong.

They helped me out with a tv when my old one died and removed my living hell of my partner and kids moaning at me about no tv, thus no video games. Furthermore they replaced the tv, when that one broke - so great service
