CEO is extremely bad, see above title. And is also greedy, doesn't care anything about art too. Please don't buy any more subscriptions either. Your artwork is not safe there anymore. One of the troller there in that horrible site called all "greedy artists". It's a huge spite for that troller to call them, and I also checked too that troller is kinda linked to the CEO's account. Check it on their journals title called:

Because they've let Ai programs flooded on their website, a lot of artists are leaving there and kept on flooding more Ai art, which the CEO himself too is using Ai programs uploaded on his gallery. The more "Ai artists" people are sharing these generated images, the more real artists work were used in there. In other words, they are letting more thieves in on their website. Like the case of Kim Jung Gi (deceased)'s art style, it has been uploaded in the database so people can use his work, without permission.

I encourage all artists to stop signing up here, and don't waste anymore of your money. The website is the downfall of your art and talent, but Ai artists will have no consideration for that.

Stop signing up here but register to a different site who are not allowing Ai art on their platform. Please, do not waste your money for their subscriptions, it's not safe on that website anymore.

There staffs are also extremely bad like their CEO, they have more respect over Ai artists than people who are defending and protecting real artists work.

This is not a friendly art community for you, it's a very and extremely poor website for you to upload your work, and extremely poor management.

I'm telling you, not safe anymore and not friendly art community.

"Greedy artists" - This is said by the troller at that absurd website.

Website - the old layout is way better than the one they are currently using. They are mainly using Wix and I could say that IT'S ****ING BUGGY AF!

Customer Service - another reason why I don't like DeviantArt is they have the worst customer service, maybe more worse than Amazon's CS. However, they did gave me a refund because I didn't use their coupon and bought their membership in a discounted price, BUT that doesn't change anything. They are SLOW to respond and sometimes, THEY WILL NOT reply at all.

Moderation Team - this BS team also don't care what people posts in their website: be it hate speech, harassments, death threats, submitting fetish arts... it couldn't get any worse! DeviantArt should replace these old moderators, and hire who are ****ing ethical than these people! PERHAPS EVEN REPLACE THEIR CEOs TOO! THEY ARE ONE MF GREEDY PEOPLE, LETTING PEOPLE POSTS LARGE NUMBER OF VOLUMES WHEN IT COMES TO FETISH ARTS! HELL, THEY ARE EVEN THINKING OF LETTING PEOPLE SUBMIT AI ART GENERATOR IN THEIR WEBSITE!

HEY DEVIANTART, WHY DON'T YOU REMOVE ALL THE ARTISTS IN YOUR WEBSITE AND REPLACE THEM OVER YOUR DISGUSTING AI OR BOTS TO DRAW FOR YOU!

For all artists out there, DO NOT SIGN UP on DeviantArt anymore. They are getting far and FAR WORSE than other websites. All they care is the money you buy for their stupid subscriptions, and they won't care when there's a major problem that you'll encounter. I highly suggest you sign up somewhere else to post your drawings because DA is one of the leading worst art collections!

I shouldn't even having this score of 1, but I can say it's ZERO score!

This art site is extremely terrible. A lot of the content on that site encourages cyber bullying, crimes against women and kids and takes Disney and other wholesome cartoons and turns them into very nasty smut. Deviantart needs to go.

Here's my question; what do you think would be more likely to use up the RAM on a computer with 64 gigs of it? A: Opening a heavily modded Minecraft loadout, giving the Java Virtual Machine, playing music on Spotify, opening a heavily modded Sims 4 game and multiple Firefox tabs on sites other than Deviantart, or, B: Closing everything but two other Firefox tabs and opening three Deviantart tabs? It's B. I remember using the site in its old design, on an older machine which had less RAM, and I could open as many tabs as I want. This new Eclipse design, despite looking bad and removing customisation features from users pages (this is an art site, why do that?) in the name of modernisation, has ridiculous RAM usage. And I'm not the only one to point this out. If your computer can handle the site, I have found several forums posts where people have asked DA when they're going to fix the memory issue (if you duckduckgo 'Deviant art memory use' you should find a few, for example, plus some other ratings on this site). Not to mention that you cannot search anything on that site without getting NSFW/fetish art of poor quality. And this is not logged in, so there is no way to see 'mature content', yet it's still everywhere. This site is not a safe place for children or teenagers any more (or any adult who doesn't want to be bombarded with NSFW images), which is a shame, as I used to use this site as a teenager and at the time found communities that helped me develop my art. If you want to actually find good quality, SFW content that happens to be in DA, open the search engine of your choice and type in your request, followed by 'site:deviantart.com'.

I've never been on a website that allows you to share art and creative writing, that can only be described as being the epitome of a toxic, paedophile invested, bully-loving, harassment, stalking, sh*thold known as DeviantArt!
And in the end, my friend and I got wrongfully banned because of fabricated bullsh*t! posted by morons who just wanted us gone because we, unlike them, want this website to IMPROVED and become BETTER in safety, and enjoyment without the crap!

This art site just the worst compared to other art sites. There are tons of bugs that never get fixed, they never listen to feedback from the artists on their platform, and so much more. Not to mention there's tons of disturbing inappropriate art on this platform. I see furry porn everywhere! It's disturbing and I will never be using DevianArt ever again..

Edit; BUG Has still not been fixed.

So eclipse has a lot of bugs, and seems to gain more with each new "feature" added. I've been having problems with my subgallery folders not showing up when I try to edit the folders and I've already asked support for help and finished doing so in OCTOBER. It still hasn't been fixed. Old deviantart didn't have any of these bugs. Also the new notifications suck compared to the old ones of Eclipse. Please for the love of god fix the bugs and actually read the beta testers inputs before you add anything new.

I hate the eclipse version, I also hate that this jerk DA user marcusdeleo and the admin are abusing their ban powers.

i don't understand why dA gets so much back lash i'm 15 and on A SCHOOL LAP TOP. meaning if porn was on dA it would be BLOCKED for me. i have met so many wonderful people including professionals who give me suggestions to better my self. yes i get it the new style (eclipse.) is not what your used to somethings have gone down hill. but from much of what i read i have no problems with the biggest most annoying thing i have found is every so often the chats act up.(not the comments they are fine.) so hike up your big boy pants and get out or get over yourself. dA over all is still an amazing place for artist especially young ones to show there work. AND HELL! if kids under the age requirement are on dA its not there fault pay attention to your children! then you will not have these problems. any weasels have a nice day y'all.

This is the dumbest app I have ever tried to log into. Tried to set up an account with no luck. I have 2 Gmail addresses and they tell me those addresses are already in use. Sure they're in use, I'm using them. Have been for the last 7 years. Screw em. Don't need their app. Plenty of apps out there that don't make you jump through hoops to join. Totally unreal

I was doxxed, and was getting death threats from another deviantart user. After they got an account strike from a DMCA I filed against them for stealing my art. Where deviantart gave this user my personal information. Even though they stated they wouldn't be giving my information to the person I filed the DMCA against. I filed a deviantart support ticket, and it's been three days with no response. Deviantarts customer support won't help me, and this deviantart users post doxxing me, and threatening my life is still up. They don't care about their users, and would rather the users of their sight feel unsafe.

I try reporting inappropriate, fetish, etc. work, which was everywhere, and it was still up, the reason I gave in the report going back faded out, which means someone in staff disagreed with me. Are they just that lazy not to fix anything? I sometimes to look at something not age restricted as though a kid or teen could see it. Kids and teens can see work that should be matured but isn't. Then I get a ban from just trying to report stuff, because they disagreed with me just too much! Well, how can you win an argument with the company's owners I suppose? They just lost a customer. I deactivated my account and am not going back. Avoid at all costs, staff doesn't care about what is on the site!

I sometimes land on this site to view a friends artwork but i refuse to explore on it, because each and every single time i go to browse other art on this site i stumble across fetish, kink and nsfw artworks with children in it.

I then go to report it because there literally is a report button for underaged content and sometimes its blanked out. meaning a staff member looked at the fetish artwork involving a child and said. "meh seems fine to me."

I reported one which was a pokemon girl pressing her ass into a childs face and farting loudly with a big green cloud for being underaged content. guess what?
still up.

So i don't browse this site because they clearly approve of involving children in sexual fantasy fetishes

Orders and payment have became very slow and for the past 2 years to the point of a crawl.

I have been a premium member for a very longtime.

Staff doesn't even seem to like their job let alone do their job.

You literally half to give them hell on social media before they EVEN CONSIDER doing anything and even then that varies.

THERE SHOULD BE A BOT TO CONFIRM ORDERS.

Get rid of the humans who do this. They clearly hate it anyway.

At least if you are going to be bad then at least do it something like youtube.

There is hardly people at that place and the orders are much faster.

I’m sorry but after using the absolute nightmare that is DA’s new notification centre I have to give it one star. This new notification centre is absolutely awful and does the exact opposite of what DA claims it’s supposed to do. Instead of engaging more with fellow artist I majority of the time avoid notifications like it was the plague and when I do try using it I can’t find anything, it’s slow, buggy and replies don’t even work.

Created an account because the site requires you to sign up to see all content on the site. Received an email out of the blue stating I had been permanently banned (no warnings, no prior notifications) due to being an alt account of a previously banned user. This utterly confused me, as I had never been banned before or even used alternate accounts. Reached out and was told they use "tools" to identify connected accounts.

I realized I had just been using a VPN a few times while connected, and reached out multiple times to inform them, only to receive no response each time.

They will permanently ban and delete your account if you use a VPN. This is nothing less than heinous. See previous reviews regarding DeviantArt's absolutely terrible and immoral behavior.

If I could give 0 stars , I would. They don’t deserve anything. I was a member for 14 years, and got banned yesterday without reason. I didn’t break any of their policies while they ignore them completely.

DA is full with porn, not the artistic nudity but actual pornographic images, underaged nude characters , art theft, pedophiles, cyber-bullies and more.

Last year someone death threatened me because I did not agree with his opinion. I contacted dA about this and they told me it was MY own fault for getting threatened to death! The nerve!

People that fake suicide and mental illnesses to get attention, Deviantart allows it all and bans innocent users such as myself without pardon.

The staff is incapable of handling anything, specially Kietz and Realitysquared. All staff are so rude, unproffessional, emotionless and show that they absolutely do not care about your problems. They only show care for your money.

I’m gonna fight with them to regain my account. This is unacceptable, they never gave a reason. Just a mail with ‘account suspended’ nothing else!

Their new layout is truly junk. User-unfriendly, very slow and takes up many intern memory of your computer. Browsers hate the site. Tags are really worthless, the user profile look stupid, way to big header.

This site needs to be taken down asap. They Allow to much things that are illegal in almost every country.

Greedy for money, removes pretty much all mature content. Has insanely stupid ToS regarding nudity and intercourse.

Core membership is useless, and why would anyone buy one piece of art for $5?

People still upload ripped content (especially real person photoshoots)

Favorites can't be set to private, even if you remove the widget from your page people still can access it with the typical /favorites link

Okay first off this is based off my experiences on deviantart
The site is extremely toxic nowadays. I recieved a hate comment in my messages from a troll user. The good news is his account got deactivated.
Some months ago I tried out the deviantart forums. It was rather nice talking in them until I came in contact with a troll. Deviantart forums are a no go. Trolls are in the forums at all times. Anyways long story short I reported the user many times moderators didn't do anything. The help desk isn't helpful at all. Also I tried to get a art thief to remove the stolen art they stole. Instead people were defending the art thief. Also there is a lot of cp on the site. No one calls out anything they let things happen on the platform. The fetish art has gotten outta control. These images are on the first page and usually featured. Nsfw art is also rapid on the platform nowadays. The suggested collections recommend inappropriate artwork. I was recommended some dbz nsfw. I saw a incest drawing of gohan and goku. The site is very toxic nowadays, and full of nsfw art. It's best not to engage with any users and post art.
