I bought from this company and then I wanted to return, I did a trust pilot review and I was so worried about the customer service but I have to say so far everything has gone well and I plan to give the company 5 stars when my money has been returned. I only sent the package back last week and I have already had confirmation of the delivery and an email saying they will return the money in 10 days. So far so good. I hope this company is able to turn their negative reviews around.
As an update my money was returned to me without any problems.
Customer service nonexistent
I really wish I would have looked at the reviews before I patroned this site. Cool designs but quality leaves a lot to be desired. But the customer service?! GOD AWFUL. Nobody will respond to you EVER!!!! These people are terrible!!!!! Do not waste your time! Run away. Don't walk! I don't even feel like explaining the headache but just know I've waited a month for them to rectify the situation and they have done absolutely nothing. Do not waste your time. Zero Out of ten. Do not recommend.
Very irresponsible as far as returns…
Very irresponsible as far as returns are concerned. I have made a return close to a month ago with tracking info and inquiry as far as refund . It’s still in process , as if they lost the item or not exactly sure as to why but I think I’m done with them for good . They owe me over $490.

Please do not shop at Desigual. I returned items last month. Proof of courier delivering over a month ago but still no refund. I have registered a formal complaint online and email several times. I have also contacted my credit card issuer.
Not handling a return
I ordered a few items from the website, and they were promptly delivered. Correct items, correct size.
But then I needed to do a return of a couple of pieces where material felt scratchy. When ordered, I verified that return process exists, all the items are eligible, and I had 30 days to return for full refund.
Requested the return label, and sent the items in.
Desigual did absolutely nothing to acknowledge that returned items were delivered. Order is still marked as delivered. I filled out customer service query twice, got no response whatsoever. No refund either.
Love their clothing, won't be ordering from Desigual ever again.

3 months after order not received and no replies from customer services until I threatened court. Even then response was DPD confirm they didn’t deliver but we don’t know if our warehouse has received it - not my problem - I am entitled to a refund - still no resolution so I have had to go through my bank to get a refund. Overpriced products with poor-quality materials, and even worse customer service. I returned two bags well within the return window, with confirmed delivery through USPS, yet I have received no refund and no meaningful response. Every attempt to contact customer service results in generic, automated replies that do not address the issue. The listed phone number does not even work, leaving no way to speak to a real representative. At this point, the lack of accountability feels intentional. I would strongly caution anyone against purchasing from Desigual unless you are prepared to risk losing your money.
Why do they have such bad reviews?
I have no idea why this site has such bad reviews here. This is my third purchase and I'm beyond satisfied. Ok, I havent had any issues, so I didn't have to deal with customer service. Therefore, I can't say anything about that aspect.
So far, I bought 2 backpacks, a purse and sneakers. Everything came exactly as pictured and the measurements were 100% correct. I bought everything on a winter sale, so all the items were much cheaper than on the other sites. All the orders came two days after I made them (for example, I made an order on Wednesday evening, and it arrived on Friday morning). Everything is shipped from the store in a capital of a country where I live and it is possible to return the products directly to the store. I was skeptical because most reviews here are bad, but now, I have no doubt I'll be buying from them again and again.

Desigual has THE WORST customer service and refund system.
1. Their number 18339046688 doesn't work.
2. If you do a return, it takes them about 15 business days to refund you but only if you email them everyday. If not, you don't get refunded.
3. I insisted on my refund with 4 emails and I got a refund for another item that was of less price. UNACCEPTABLE.

I have not received a refund for clothes worth £730
I returned clothes worth £730 to Desigual five weeks ago and have still not received my refund. All my emails have just been answered via an automated service that gives me a case number but does not even mention the issue of refunds. I have bought from Desigual for many years with no problem previously, but I’m having a complete nightmare now. I don’t know what has happened to the company, but I strongly warn you not to lose money the way I have.
Not refunding. No customer service available
ordered on Black Friday. They delayed shipping for 2-3 weeks and said I couldn’t cancel until it shipped. Finally got the order, but the items weren’t what I expected, so I returned them following their exact instructions. It’s now January 15, 2026 and still no refund. Complete lack of communication is insane.
I’ve tried everything:
Multiple emails— no reply, just auto-acknowledgments.
Their phone number on the site is disconnected.
Live chat is just a useless bot that loops you back to FAQ and says “no agents available.”
Checked my account — no updates on the return status. This feels like straight-up theft at this point. I’ve read tons of similar complaints. I’m planning to file a chargeback .

This is the worst customer service ever. They can't provide me with a return label for a month. I'm going to lose 100€ which I spent buying one thing I didn't like and I won't wear. Amazing. Thank you for nothing!
If I could give them no stars I would
If I could give them no stars I would. Ive been trying to return an item since November 2025 and still not managed to do so. When the label they’ve provided is scanned at the Collection point it states the item has already been returned. Despite several emails to them to rectify it I’m still in the same position. They are now not responding to emails, their telephone number is no longer active and the chat bott is next to useless. I’ve been buying from them for years but won’t be anymore. If you are thinking of buying on line think very carefully before wasting your well earned cash.

Please do not use this company. If you need to return anything you will never get your money back. Basically I bought 2 dresses 2 different sizes sent 1 back in November and still waiting for my £76 refund. After numerous emails to them and a phone call all you receive back is automated emails. And now you can’t speak to them on the phone anymore as the phone number has been cancelled. No customer care whatsoever with this company. Disgusting.
Order never arrived
Ordered a bag as a Christmas present, hasn’t showed up almost a month later. Sent a mail and got told they’d reply in 3-5 days but that never happened either and it’s been over 2 weeks since I made contact. Don’t buy from this company!

Very Bad Customer service. Live Chat is actually not live at all, but a looping bot. The chat of the customer service does not route to a live rep. And the phone number of the customer service publically listed and on the websites does not work and routes to a strange answering machine

Terrible, very disappointing customer service.
It was a mission to even just try and find out when my package would be delivered but then trying to return anything has been a nightmare. I’ve been nearly three weeks trying to return things. Customer service don’t listen to you and don’t read your emails properly. I’ve also have had a bad flu and telling me to call ups when I can barely speak is just so disheartening.
I’ll never shop with them again even though I love their clothes and bags etc. Such a disappointment.

Purchased 2 jumpsuits online, received them, both were way too big and one was damaged, brought it to the store at Carrefour Laval, the person was super nice and gave me a refund confirmation on December 19th 2025, never received a refund yet on my credit card, wrote to Desigual a few times and nothing is happening.
