Overall experience has been good

Overall experience has been good. But the referral link does not work properly for me. I have referred few friends and for the referral bonus of just one friend I had to have a lot of to and fro mails. Rest all has been good.

Great first card!

Deserve is a great credit card for International Students that does not have a credit score. Deserve Pro has amazing cash back for its target customers, compared to its competitors. The application and the website can be improved, not the best UI/UX. However, it gets the job done. This should be your first card, if you are new to credit cards in the U.S.!

Deserve to be Deserved or maybe not :)

The Card is not accepted in multiple online payment portals, payment either bounces or says invalid card.

However, on overall good, it works for me as I use it majorly for most of the expenses

In addition, transactions may be approved or declined based on various risk criteria from the Mastercard network. These criteria may include:
- High transaction amount
- High transaction attempt frequency
- High-risk merchants or merchant categories
- International purchases
- Previous recent declined transactions

if you’re a student with little to no…

if you’re a student with little to no debt, this card looks perfect! However, they do not have a good APR%, and are more than willing to go behind your back and decrease tour credit limit, even if your track record is 100% in time and good. Even if you have no credit, it’s still better than them hurting your credit.

How this card has any good reviews…

How this card has any good reviews blows my mind. This was my first ever credit card and it had made me reluctant to ever get another one. The amount of shady things this company has done has amazed me. They moved without notifying ANY of their customers so my payments were often delayed without explanation until I finally called them. Customer service is also absolutely disastrous. I’ve been on hold for 1 hour plus before. And when I do finally get ahold of someone, I’ve twice had rude and unhelpful customer service reps. As someone who works in retail, I understand the difficulty of working with customers, but in general you should try not to insult them while you are on the phone with them :) The promise of a free year of Amazon Prime has also proven to be not true. No matter how many times I tried to set it up through the company, it never worked. If you’re into false promises and disaster than this card is for you :)

Can I give less then a 1 star? They don't deserve a single star.. WORST Company...Card and Customer Service I have ever experienced....EVER!! Run.. delete your Cache and never go back to their site again.

Their customer service sucks. Honestly if you are an international student and need a credit card — HSBC and Bank of America will provide them.

“ No credit history required” but denied because of credit history but Discover and Capital One approved. This credit card is a disaster and very misleading. Was prequalified and then denied. Useless inquiry for no reason.

Customer service is an absolute joke

Customer service is an absolute joke. They are helpless relating anything to the card.

I've had the Pro card for over 2 1/2 years now, and honestly kind of set it aside because of the terrible issues I had when I first got approved. Somehow their system messed up my birthdate on file, so any time I try to verify myself when I call support, they ask for my birthday and they hang up because I got 'some information' wrong. Refusing to listen WHY its wrong.

I wanted to give the card another chance this week, tried to log in online, and said it was locked and had to call their customer service. Called, tried verifying, got told its wrong. Explained myself, they said "oh, just log in online and double check your information", making me have to explain AGAIN that i'm locked out of my account. They then say "in that case you'll have to send over information to our email address" which obviously isn't secure. At this point, customer service was driving me insane. So i wanted to just close my account, since I definitely don't need this card, and they refused to close it until I get access to my online account. All while being absolutely helpless to me. Worst customer service, which plays a huge part into a credit card company for me. Can only imagine the headache someone goes through if theres fraud or have to file a dispute. I'll be sure to go the extra mile and gain access to my account and close it. Disgusting tbh.

Best card for international students trying to build credit. They also have sweepstakes scholarships of $1000 for students which is nice considering how expensive tuition is for international students
