A waste of time and money
Overall a terrible experience with no results, cannot recommend.
Started out promising with a welcoming introductory call, with no reason to worry, but multiple issues started surfacing during the apartment search process.
Quality of service rapidly dropped over time, and eventually ceased all communication, not providing updates whether negative or positive.
1. Misunderstood my clearly written requirements and was searching for more restrictive that it should have been, wasting weeks of time on an overly restrictive search.
2. Advised against applying to two apartments at the same time, and as a result lost out on both, as I had been forwarded inaccurate information about the first one, and by the time that came to light the second one was gone.
3. Very slow to communicate, as of this moment waiting on an email response for over 3 weeks, as such I have completely lost trust at this point.
4. Even before that, frequently fails to provide information about whether it was possible or not to visit an apartment that I had showed interest in.
Clearly not interested in doing the work anymore, but does not communicate this either.
5. Only used homegate.ch for searching despite many other apartment sites being available.
To sum up, don't waste your money, use any other relocation service instead.

We regret that you were not satisfied with our services. As you know, your requirements were not the easiest to meet. It is very difficult to find apartments that have a ceiling height of at least 2.70 meters AND air conditioning, not being a minergy construction and meeting the size, you are looking for. However, as we told you, there are possibilities, and this guided us in our search. We completely agree with you that you should send an application for every apartment that is suitable (if you are sure that you would accept an offer). This also confirms that we did indeed manage to find apartments that met your criteria. However, given that there are several applicants for each apartment, there is unfortunately no guarantee that you will always be accepted. We also agree that you should not only search on Homegate.ch, as you would miss out on numerous other options.
In any case, we wish you all the best and hope that you will soon find your dream apartment.
