Appalling service: lost essential accessories and no communication!

Absolutely appalling service: Returned with no communication, accessories lost – and shocking quality control!

I sent my DeLonghi machine in due to a serious electrical fault that was tripping my home’s main power; a clear safety issue. I followed all instructions and included every required accessory.

What I got back was unacceptable: no explanation of the fault, no report of any repair, and zero communication. I have no idea if the machine has even been properly fixed.

Even worse, items I sent are now missing - including the frother, spout, and water filter. I can’t even check if the machine is now fixed as it’s missing crucial parts. That is simply inexcusable!

To add to this, my experience with this company has been poor from the start. When I first purchased the machine, I was sent a “new” unit that arrived physically damaged. It took significant back-and-forth to finally get that replaced.

Taken together, this points to seriously questionable quality assurance and customer service standards.

I’ve been left without answers, missing parts, and very little confidence in this company. I would not trust this service again and would strongly advise others to think twice.

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE

Purchased an Eletta Explore on 1st December 2025. Gave it to my husband on the 25th December and by 2nd February it was intermittently faulting saying it could not produce drinks at requested intensity (only 3/5!). Cleaned it through, played with settings and fault remained so contacted customer services who said it could not be trouble shooted and would require repair. I was advised packaging would be sent to my house to start the collection process. The packaging did not materialise and I advised them that the delays plus the approx. three week repair turn around was unacceptable and I wanted a refund or replacement as per my consumer rights. Radio silence and poor responses since ignoring my rights and just stating their internal warranty process - which do not trump my legal rights. Long story short I have today had to raise a small claim after over 8 weeks without my expensive 'luxury' machine. Terrible customer service.

PLEASE DON'T BUY DELONGHI PRODUCTS

After owning a Delonghi Magnifica Evo for 5 months it has been back to be 'Repaired' twice, and now no longer does anything at all. We can't get hot water or coffee from it and the customer services just keep saying that they won't offer a replacement and that the company that they send it to isn't very good.

So much for statutory rights, a product that costs £400 only last 4 months absolutely isn't a 'reasonable length of time'.

I'm now being forced to take this up with the ombudsman.

Coffee machine still hasn't arrived…

Coffee machine still hasn't arrived after 12 days.. their "AI" chatbot is useless and asks the same three questions and just tells you to wait 3 more days. Very disappointing service.

Product is damaged and i have to return…

Product is damaged and i have to return it and wait for a refund and order a new one. The product is supposed to be brand new so a replacement to the door is expected so i can hand the old one and receive the new one. Disappointed!

Slightly disappointed.

Slightly disappointed with the kettle as it’s not as solid as our last Delongi kettle, probably why it was a lot cheaper, still it works very well

delonghi repair centre- the worst service ever!!

I have sent my coffee machine to the delonghi repair centre. I sent it on the 9th March and recieved it on the 10th March. They did not start work on it until the 1st of April. It was completed and I paid via a link on the 2nd of April. I appreciate it was the bank holiday weekend but it is now the 10th of april no change on their tracking system if you phone you speak to a call centre in spain. Its not their fault they cannot do anything. There is no contact for the uk and the email they sent updates on is a no reply account. There is no way to make a complaint. Appalling customer service, generally, I am very easily pleased. I have used this service twice previously and they have turned it around in a week. I will not be using this service again and i am.unable to recommend it. After almost 5 weeks I am still waiting for my coffee machine!!

Premium Prices, Scam-Level Customer Service. Avoid Buying Direct!

I purchased the La Specialista Opera (EC9555.M) directly from the De'Longhi website, expecting a premium experience. Instead, I am dealing with what feels like an absolute scam.

My order arrived, but the Coffee HomeKit that was supposed to be included (the knock box and cups) was completely missing from the delivery.

I first called their support line on the 26th of March to report the issue. The agent promised the missing items would be dispatched and that I'd receive a confirmation email "soon." A week went by with absolutely no communication. I followed up with a formal, direct email demanding a resolution. It has now been well over another week, and I have been completely ghosted, save for an automated reply slapping me with Ticket #7619141.

Once De'Longhi takes your money, their customer care ceases to exist. You should not have to beg a massive company to actually send you the items you rightfully paid for.

If you are going to buy a De'Longhi machine, do not buy it directly from them. Buy it from a reputable third-party retailer who actually honors their sales and has a functioning customer service department. Fix this, De'Longhi.

Persistent Water Leakage Issue

Persistent Water Leakage Issue

I purchased a De’Longhi coffee machine with high expectations, but unfortunately the unit has a consistent water leakage problem. Every time I use it, water starts dripping from underneath the machine, creating a mess on the counter and making the device unusable.

I followed all the instructions carefully, checked the tank, the seals, and the internal components, but the issue persists. For a brand known for quality, this was disappointing. I would appreciate a proper solution or replacement, as this is clearly a manufacturing fault.

My Espresso machine Delongi Magnifica…

My Espresso machine Delongi Magnifica is after two months dead.
Contact coolblue and got a service number.
Day later mail from Delongi home service telling me a mecanicien will visit me soon. If I please meanwhile will rattle the machine ones and a while. This baffles me. Makes me wander if it works like that how often do I have to exept that the rest of garantie time left ? Koffie anyone ? Go rattle the machine on tour.
