I've been a Deezer client for the last few years, as a personal effort to keep Spotify from monopolizing everything. A phone company offered me a Deezer plan as a bonus, if I switched. I did, as I would be spending the same and getting the Deezer service that I love. As soon as I signed a 12-month contract, I went to turn on my Deezer, and add started playing before every time I try to hear music. Apparently Deezer made of partnership with TIM (mobile operator in Brazil) and created a Deezer Plan called Deezer Now, which has ads, and it's basically a different name for the Deezer Lite (free plan). This is obviously an attempt for Deezer to get more users, while TIM bulking up their bonuses to attract idiots like me.

Have used this for about 15 years now, always as a paid sub. From my expereince, this is the best music app out there with great functionality. It has pretty much every song and artist you could imagine on here, even stuff that is not very well known.

Great recommendations and ive found so many more good tunes through this feature, it honestly is great.

Just thought you guys should know my experience, I'd never use any other app at this point in my life and will happily stay subbed until I can't hear any more.

Love Deezer. Great quality, convenient interface both on Android and Windows. Customer service is great. Had a minor issue with the app due to my payment card being replaced, and the service agent Suliko handled the situation well and helped me resolve the issue in no time. I already recommended Deezer to a lot of friends and will continue doing so.

Deezer fraudulently debited my account using an now defunct email address/domain. And will not acknowledge OR refund my money.

I got hold of support once (by email), and he demanded that i be, quote, "friendly & respectful".
That was his only contribution.
This, after they just stole my money, AND, as a result, prevented a genuine bank debit due to the subsequent lack of funds.

And they still do not acknowledge or refund my money they fraudulently took from my account.

Is Deezer so desperate for funds that they now fraudulently steal money from the bank accounts of age pensioners?

Very difficult to unsubscribe from email notifications, you have to check 80 boxes. Reported as spam and blocked in Gmail due to poor user experience

Was on 3.99 a month. As soon as final payment taken I upgraded to annual, but the month I had paid 3.99 for was not added to the total, therefore losing me a months sub. Contacted support and got a bot reply, saying it would escalate to human for refund. No human contacted me-then days later the bot emailed to ask how my experience was.
With any other sub when you pay for more time it added to your existing credit. I quite like the music service but this degree of poor customer support will have me looking elsewhere

I had all my accounts hacked over the weekend. Money cleared you name it!! Police & Fraud team have been notified. It has come back that it was a Deezer account I had made years ago! Unable to access my account now to close it.

So thank you for letting this happen! They have all my details!

I had a free account a few years ago. Then my personal information was leaked and since then I've had nothing but issues with spam and phishing scams. I can't log into my account, reset password, enter my account to delete it and my problem is still continuing.
My my email, password,address, date of birth and gender are all over the dark web.
(Can't go back far enough for date of breach )

I recently did a trial of Deezer and must say its heaps better than Spotify. Transferring my music from Spotify to Deezer was really easy and almost everything managed to get on there, however the mobile UI is sluggish (selecting a song takes agessss) and can also be buggy sometimes. High res is also there, but I haven't really heard a huge difference. I would still recommend this over Spotify any day.

Absolutely horrible music recommendations. No matter what genre, tempo, vibe you're listening to, the next song queued by Deezer will be from another box. It looks like the algorithm weights the general artist's genere heavy.
No way to block artists from recommendations. No matter if they are transphobic, homophobic, or zionists - no way for you to not get recommendations to listen to their songs.
UI is childish and quite unattractive.
Basic playlists who must be created by people who have very narrow view of music.
Finally after 1.5 years of struggling decided to move to another service that offers Lossless audio. Them increasing the price 4 days before my next billing helped with the decision.
Never coming back.

Absolutely appalling that you offer me a free trial which I took, I’m 8 or 9 days into the sub and you billed me
I need a refund asap as this has gone onto my phone bill and this is shocking to treat a new customer like this

Advertised 1 month free so signed up but turns out I had an account years ago so they charged me 11.99 and didn't give me an option to say no, I complained and was told no refunds, shocking company and very misleading.

WATCH OUT! No refund policy even when requesting one after half an hour of trial. Definitely go for a different service.

A decent app that does what it has to. However, I personally went with Spotify later on as it was way cheaper for me

It's allmost impossible to delete your account at Deezer. I have a free account and now they say that if I don't delete my account before April 18 I will automaticly will be charge for a payed account....

Don't not use this company, sent me an offer by email. Now I've paid for it they're saying they won't apply the offer because I used Google pay. At no point was it specified that I cannot use that payment method. Been with them for years, now I'll delete. AVOID AVOID AVOID 100% SCAMMERS.

Disgraceful and shady business practices.

I had been a long time customer, using the service for well over a decade and I was under the impression that I had successfully cancelled my account subscription in September last year (2023). I cancelled because I didn't like change of service terms, eye watering price increase, and the apps new user interface. I didn't realise that I had been getting billed each month for an extra 6 months. I contacted deezer to explain but they were hearing none of it and did not offer to refund the payments with rude and condescending email replies. I had to contact my bank to put a block on deezer taking any further payments. Absolute scam, do not trust this company with your banking and personal details.

ok so the only reason i went on the freakin website was to find the lyrics of radiclaw by paper skies and azazal and then it told me to get a FREE account to listen to the rest of the track and i was like ok fine so i gave them like 1/4 of my personal info (they didnt have an option to skip on anything and i get if they ask for an email and they send u a link to verify it but this one just kinda asked for it with no other option, and same with everything else u give them) anyways then I went back to the song (after having no other choice than to select 15 or more artists that i like even though i only like 3 so i just chose those 3 and like 12 other random dum-dums) anyways so then i went back to the song and they literally said "upgrade to premium to hear the full track" so creating an account did literally nothing.
