Return not refunded even after two months - Shameful

I returned an order two months ago, the parcel was lost/stolen by the carrier and they don't want to refund me because according to them they are not responsible.
It's a shame, after two months of waiting I still haven't been refunded and I will probably never be refunded. For an order of over 300€, it's a shame.

I don't recommend this site, go ahead and order elsewhere

I notice that there are 2 comments lists for the same site Bijenkorf Belgium : Item "de Bijenkorf" (here) and also "Bijenkorf".
The two refer to the same web site (check bij clicking).

I am surprised by the bad reviews here…

I am surprised by the bad reviews here below... I have ordered several items from the Bijenkorf in the past and never had any issues. Delivery is fast, items are well packaged and quality of the products is good. So no complaints, good webshop!

Never received package

I ordered sneakers that were presented at my door the next day - so far, so good. But I wasn’t home and got a notification from Postnl that they would be delivered elsewhere (at my request) the next work day. Then the trouble started: my sneakers - for which I’d already paid - got lost in a Postnl-depot for two weeks and were eventually returned to sender without explanation or contacting me. Not once did De Bijenkorf contact me about this, I always had to ask about it myself. Neither did they provide me with an explanation or solution when I contacted them myself - several times. Their final answer when I called them yet again was: ‘the shoes were sold out’ which was obviously not true. I got a 15€ gift card as a compensation, but would’ve rather received my shoes... Errors can happen but this is very bad after sales service. The only reason I’m giving two stars, not one, is I suspect it’s Postnl’s fault.
