AVOID
Disgusting service, order did not dispatch for over double the "delivery" timeframe. Repeatedly contacted customer services to be fobbed off and told "we've escalated it" finally had to dispute the purchase with PayPal.
Wrong item and poor service
They sent the wrong item despite it being their error I had to pay to return it. They were unreachable for a refund I had to take it through PayPal. The return process was difficult

Avoid at all costs, very misleading company
Bought a bed and mattress on their website. I was able to find my Northern Irish adress at checkout no bother with my postcode, and of course i was able to pay for the item for them to take my money.
Got an email saying some mysterious part of my order was out of stock but they couldn't explain what was out of stock. They of course blamed the partner supplier.
Contacted their 'support', not much use there
Just one quick message saying that my postcode was no good for delivery and they ended the conversation.
They didn't bother to say why the postcode was no good. Was it because its not mainland UK or they dont post to Northern Ireland; which is in the UK.
Absolutely useless and very misleading, would give zero stars, if i could.
Disgusting service
I ordered a cardigan from Debenhams, which first of all took weeks as it came from China. Had I known it was coming from China I wouldn’t have ordered due to timing. It was left at my front door, (I only know this from photo proof on tracking) but I didn’t receive it. I have safe places, a back garden, shed, garage, bins and it was left in full view of the street. They are refusing a refund or replacement because I have photo evidence of delivery. Surely this is illegal! I always said I’ll never order from them again after a past dispute I didn’t get refunded for. After this I definitely won’t be.

I keep explaining they have received the parcel as one dress refunded. My advice is do not use this site they are scammers and stealing peoples money, using every excuse possible to avoid refunds.

They never delivered my product and have kept my money. Customer services is useless. They steal people's money! They never shipped the product and have tried to put the blame on the courier. How this is even legal? How Debenhams is getting away with this? This will be taken higher
LILO and stitch breathing…CRAP!
Ordered the LILO and stitch breathing toy for a Christmas gift. Set it up to try about 2weeks later, tried brand new batteries. No power at all and the toy doesn’t work. As I contacted Debenhams past the 28 day cut off for a return label, they refuse to accept the item back and refund me, even though they’ve sold me a faulty item, and they know it is from all the other reviews I’ve seen about this rubbish toy.
They have an obligation to assist customers who have bought this rubbish taking my money with nothing to show for it. No wonder they have closed down on the high street. I’ll NEVER shop with these again. Stick to Amazon everyone, at least they fulfil returns on faulty goods. Disgusting service from a major retailer.. They blame Greet Dreams for selling the to me, well you Debenhams fulfilled the order and took my money! It’s on my bank statement! Charged to Debenhams. You’re a disgrace.

I try to return first Christmas tree not as described, different colour and bottom to wider different from advert on website. They not been able to sorted out collection and now 14 of January still don't have refund .

It's a scam... they send fake products that you didn't order. along with that was a bunch of fake emails saying the product was basically being sent around the world? It's shocking how this is happening. You can't call them either?? No consumer rights at all. This needs investigations ASAP

Having read all the other reviews on here (wish I had before ordering, lesson learned) - I'm now nervous about returning the coat as wondering whether I will even get a refund?
I will wait for customer service to response (if they ever do?), but may have to resort to paying for a qualified seamstress to adjust the coat to fit me. I do like the coat (buttons a bit cheap) - but this whole process slightly whiffs of goods coming from China/mass produced items... not the Debenhams we all knew when they had stores :(

Quite possibly the worst experience I’ve had buying online.Bought a watch that was promised before Xmas still had not received it by 7th January emailed them they said it was lost,would you like a refund or send me another watch.I asked for a refund 2 days later the watch was delivered.💁 And it didn’t even work. Now have to wait again to get it resolved. 🤬🤬

It's a shame there is 1 star on here and not a crap star . They are totally awful. Buyers beware DONT USE. I tried to get scammed by India on a refund call. I clear my account 1st to see what would happen. And yes please accept payment of 50 -100-250. It was to pay them not me. Dirty f@#£%^&.

Placed this order on the 31st Dec on a express delivery service, I wouldn't have ordered it if it wasn't on this service as needed. It as a gift for someone that weekend...
After 2 days, tracking still states we are expecting your order so I contacted customer service via messenger and was told that my order was now on a standard delivery service and was given no reason for this...
I was told I needed to wait until the 7th Jan and couldn't cancel my order because it had already been given to a third party...
The order arrived on the 10th for Jan 10 days late.
It seems to me this company is reeling in new customers with the promise of express delivery but in reality they are sent on a standard delivery..
Not sure how long they'll be able to get away with this as new customers have started to trig on.
The customer service is non-existent and they frankly don't really seem to give a damn..
They are also not publishing negative reviews via their website on items, this really shouldn't be allowed as its false advertising...
Be rest assured, I definitely won't be using your company again and would recommend for all new customers to beware and to read the trust pilot reviews beforehand. .
Reported Debenhams to Trading Standards
Absolutely shocking Customer Service from Debenhams. Ordered a mattress protector £139.99 by express delivery to be delivered by 17/12/24. Automatic tracking number generated. FedEx have no record of collection which Debenhams can’t provide. Still not received despite being asked to wait until 29/12/24. Customer service is either AI generated or done by text (no response to emails). I believe Debenhams are using third party suppliers who are advertising items not in stock, taking the money and they not refunding when they don’t arrive. This is pretty much illegal/fraudulent trading. This sharp practice needs to be investigated. Do not buy from Debenhams!!
Ordered a product Spirograph on the 8th…
Ordered a product Spirograph on the 8th December and today it’s come 28th December. Paid extra for delivery for it only for the item ordered to be switched due to stock and a cheaper alternative sent out.
Won’t deduct the difference or do anything about it.

Terrible customer service, I was sent a QR code to return my parcel which was from their website and it was the wrong address, but they are saying it’s my fault I have supplied all the evidence, but they have now stopped replying to me so I will be taking this further.

My delivery DUX035611306 was left outside my front door for anyone to take and to let possible burglars know that the property may have been unoccupied.I shall not be using your company again and I will be letting others know as to the level of service that was provided. Photo was sent by the delivery company showing the item left outside my door.
