Terrible product!!!

Sent me a the right item, but listed options and functions that don't even come with the product!! Then sent me a email that said "do you want a refund?!! Does that solve your problem?" Highly disrespectful and won't not recommend their products to anyone.

Poor Goods, Useless customer service

Bought an alarm clock which kept resetting itself making it useless. Contacted customer service explaining it had only been used a couple of times in the month we had it but they insisted we returned at our own cost to be checked, but we would not be refunded this postage (this would be about half the value of the item). Several mails later it was clear they were completely uninterested in their customer.

Really happy

I purchased a personalised baby grow from dealtastic and it is really really good quality. people moan about receiving e-mails from them but I think this is how a company like this makes its money I was so worried seeing these reviews after ordering I thought I had been ripped off but this was not the case thank god and thank you Dealtastic

Customer service non existant

I purchased some solar lights from Dealtastic and unfortunately one was broken. I have tried to email their customer service without success. I won't be ordering from them again and would not recommend them to anyone due to this poor service.

Great Customer Service

After waiting 11 days for a parcel to arrive I emailed Dealtastic. I got a reply the same day assuring me that the parcel would be delivered within the next 3 working days. Having had problems before with couriers I put a note on my porch door asking for the parcel to be left inside. Two days later I got a delivery note from Hermes pushed through saying that this was the 2nd delivery and the parcel needed to be signed for, also on the note was a name and phone number of the courier. I phoned the number and left a message to ring me to arrange a time for delivery. The next day I had another note through that stated that this was the 3rd and final time for a failed delivery and that the parcel would be returned to Dealtastic. I again phoned the courier and left another message to phone me but no one did. The following day I sent an email to dealtastic complaining about Hermes and within 2 hours I received an email off them to say sorry and that a full refund had been made, this was backed up with an email from paypal. I cannot fault the customer service I received from Dealtastic and if they ever change their delivery firm I would certainly try them again.

Woeful - seemingly impossible to send email claiming refund!

On reading (in desperation found this site!) other reviews about Dealtastic, I am beginning to fear the worst!

Bought two WARMLITE oil filled radiators (£83.90!) albeit NOT supplied directly from DEALTASTIC, and NEITHER of them work! Furthermore, the boxes in which they arrived were NOT factory sealed but badly resealed with quantities of sello-tape. "Refurbished goods?!" rang the alarm bells! Unfortunately, the courier (Parcel Force) had already left before I noticed this, otherwise I wouldn't have accepted the delivery let alone (re)opened them, but simply sent them back immediately with Parcel Force. As it happens, little choice but to (re)open the boxes, and NEITHER of the heaters function.

Next step - contacting DEALTASTIC via the returns link provided is futile. The emails cannot be sent! I then contacted the dealer directly and was very courteously dealt with, and given the phone number for DEALTASTIC, as this DOES NOT APPEAR on their site. No answer, just a mechanical voice telling me to "phone later" - well, I could've continued until 'hell-or-myself-froze-over'. NO functional heaters and apparently £83.90 gone down the pan!

Whose fault is this? Apparently DEALTASTIC get the money, which is then passed on to the actual dealer/supplier. Therefore the goods have to be returned to DEALTASTIC for 'vetting' and a subsequent refund... The Dealer would not accept a return of 'their/my (?!)' goods, fair enough, but HOW to contact DEALTASTIC! Mission Impossible.

Where to go from here? Obviously Amazon.co.uk as they are sterling, safe and reliable. I'm freezing and need my heaters, so forget 'amazing deals' and stick with what you know and trust... £83.90 is a lot of money for anyone to lose, and in my circumstances (an OAP) this is particularly so...

The only positive is that the heaters were ordered on 17/12/2011 and arrived 22/12/2011 - which is prompt delivery! Pity they are as DEAD as dodos! And seemingly the customer support team at DEALTASTIC are too...

Aweful company

Waited a whole day each time they replied dismissing my email!!

Item turned up broken, I ordered a butterfly in jar and the butterfly was not attached inside the jar so didn't work.

This was ordered in plenty of time for christmas, but now they are asking me to take photos of it. I did this so they sent me another email asking me to send it back out of my own money!! If they take 5 working days to do what I did within 20 seconds of opening the package, I dread to think how long it will be until I receive this.

Really bad service, cheap (ish) prices but really not worth the rish if something goes wrong

WORST EVER

This really has to be one of the worst companies I have ever come across placed a order on the 22nd and got a dispatch notice , waited the 10 days then contacted after many unanswered e-mail I final got the reply and I quote –
I am sorry, it would've been impossible for either order to be despatched on 22.10.11 as the earliest order was placed on 28.10.11
This company is no more than a SCAM do not use

Have to give one star as you cannot give 0 which would be a truer rating

Astounded

I ordered a battery charger for my daughter now living 100 miles away as she had had an incident where her battery failed although a check revealed no fault. Instead she received a gun! Dealtastic want this returned before they will send her the item we ordered for her. They were very quick to tell us this but not so quick responding to our request that they make good and send it by return. We have been to fetch the weapon for collection from our home as we are far from happy with it being kept in a shared flat!

Great prices, efficient customer service

Have ordered & received numerous items at great prices from this company. One was incorrect but was soon replaced with the correct item without issue.
I have always had prompt responses to emails & wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Diabolical!

Diabolical company. Ordered a Sonic Screwdriver Wii Remote on the 5th December and I'm still awaiting delivery. Have had two replies to my e-mail's asking when I should expect to recieve my item; in the first they said, and I quote: "We have looked into it and can confirm that the order was dispatched on 05/12 and split into 3 parcels." One item... In three parcels? Interesting. Have twice requested a refund and have twice been told I have to wait 10 working days before they (Dealtastic) can report the item as lost, which directly contravenes the Distance Selling Regulations.

Wish I'd never set eyes on their website. Looks great, but in reality seems to be a two-bit back-room operation with no stock and customer service reps who can't even find the correct order when given an order number!

If you wish to save a few quid, shop elsewhere; shopping with Dealtastic means you end up loosing the price of the item and buying from someone reliable. If you insist on trying to buy something from these people I'd advise using a Credit Card for your own safety, but be aware most CC companies will only get your money back if you spend over £100.00. Personally, I wouldn't spend a penny on this site again... Pun intended!

Scammers!

I wish I could choose 'no stars' This is an awful company. I bought my item for a friend on the 2nd December. They took my money on the 6th and reckoned they'd sent it on the 3rd. I'm still waiting, it's now the 14th.

Their customer service have been less than helpful, sending my insulting automated messages 'we have looked into your order and we can confirm' blar blar blar.

Looking around the internet there are many other angry customers who have not received their item. So it looks like they have happily taken my money but not delivered on their product. Don't go near this awful site, ever, ever, EVER. They are bad, bad, bad news.
