Extremely disappointing experience
Extremely disappointing experience with David Gandy Wellwear. I returned an item (order #38982) to exchange the same product for a different size, and the item was received and confirmed by them. Weeks later, I'm still waiting for the exchange to be processed.
When I chased for an update, I was told the item "doesn't belong to them" - despite it being the exact product I purchased directly from their site and returned to their own returns address. No evidence was provided to support this claim, just a dismissive, generic response.
I'm now left without the item I paid for and out of pocket, with no resolution in sight and no real effort from their customer service team to investigate or put things right.
A simple size exchange should not be this difficult. Based on this experience, I'd think twice before ordering again.

T-shirt didn’t fit but I have to pay for the return, hesitant to order another item if I’m lumbered with the delivery fees. Customer service was quick, hence the 3 stars, but I won’t be ordering again. Out of pocket and I had to do the admin to get my refund. Thumbs down.

Sizing much too small
First time of buying from David Gandy for a while.
I bought XL then but would need XXXL now but they don't XXXL. Quality is very good....what a shame.
Sizing are much too small. will not be buying any more.

Still being ignored by the ‘customer care’ team
Received a 20% discount email on the 8 June requested I advise the David Gandy team of what I wanted so the 20% could only apply to those items only. I replied to them to be told the 20% disc was only available up to 7 June yet they sent me the mail on the 8 June
Come on David Gandy review your customer service and honour the 20% discount.
When I asked to escalate it to a manager it all went quiet and they are ignoring my emails. Is it because I am correct that an email sent on the 8 June cannot expire on the 7 June
Absolutely useless.
Absolutely useless.
I ordered some t shirts and they sent me pyjamas, with someone else’s information attached to them. They refused to come and collect hiding behind the excuse of being “a small brand”. You have the face of the biggest male model in the world on your brand and sell in M&S. No, you aren’t a small brand.
Having returned the unwanted items at my inconvenience, they messed about not sending the correct one until I gave up and demanded a refund that they persistently dithered over.
Don’t bother.

I have found ordering from this company to be a complete waste of time. I have encountered numerous issues and am still waiting for a refund on exchange shirts that were never processed. Due to the persistent lack of communication and slow response from customer service, I ultimately had to request a refund.
STAY CLEAR

Poor customer service
Quality products but customer service is appalling. I received the wrong item but customer service is just an AI response. Based on other peoples experience it is probably safer for me to keep the wrong item. Strange how they seem to accept the poor customer service and make no attempt to improve upon it.

Definitely a retailer to avoid based on my experience with the customer services team.
I placed an initial order in October 2025 and as of April 2026 I am still waiting for exchange items to be sent to me following a return. I have sent multiple emails, the last was over 6 weeks ago, and I am still waiting for a response and/or resolution.
Very poor all round.

Not the highest quality
Inconsistent sizing, i.e., sometimes medium is medium, sometimes medium large, and with variable lengths. The grey t-shirts have become rather bobbly, which makes me question the quality of the cotton they're using. Some t-shirts have also developed small holes. Overall, not the highest quality.

Still awaiting a refund for returned item . Firstly given the option of gift card which I accepted . As no sizes were available I then asked for a refund .
Told £3.99 would be deducted and payable within 10 days . Well still waiting after 5 weeks . Further more received an email today asking how I got on with my gift card ( never received one )
Not the best shopping experience and won’t be purchasing any more items .

The ultimate men’s dressing gown I bought was fantastic- the fabric is very good quality - it’s soft, warm and extremely comfortable my guy is very happy! It’s also great value I think £69 it feels and looks more expensive - it’s very well made and I recommend this product- I will buy again from David Gandy and hope their other clothes are as good quality

Never again. Awful returns.
First order from here, and won't ever be ordering again.
Simply put, returns are a shambles. I sent returns to 5 x places on the same day, every single one except Gandy Wellwear has refunded my money, whilst this lot haven't even acknowledged receipt of my return.
When you email them to ask for help you get a generic AI generated response which fobs you off....
Really poor for an online outfit, I will be raising a dispute with my credit card provider to get my money back.
Edit with an update further to the companies response below;
I was finally made aware of this apparent warehouse issue on 18th Feb, which was a response to my 4th email.
Royal Mail tracking shows my return was received 4th Feb. I had no communication from the company at all, so emailed 10th Feb and got a generic AI response, to which I replied 11th Feb and got a similar generic AI response. I then chased again on the 17th Feb having heard nothing in between. And finally on the 18th Feb got an email from what sounds like a real human, advising of this warehouse issue.
Better communication from the outset would make these processes far easier for everyone involved.
Update 2; further to the retailer response below, I did not receive any communication that week about my return. As of today (24th Feb) having heard nothing further I've raised a dispute with my credit card provider to get my money back, the first time I've ever had to do so. Please be warned about this company.

Such a poor Experience - Expected so much more!
I will avoid ordering anything from David Gandy again at all costs. The experience for me was one of the most unpleasant I have had in a long time. If you do make the mistake of ordering, their T-Shirt sizing, or at least the one’s I received were way, way off. And if you do have to return items you will get caught in their trap of having to pay both outgoing, and return shipping which is a real scam!
Returning an item can be frustrating and costly. I bought 3 x T-Shirts that were definitely wrongly sized – I am XL, and I sized up to XXL based on the on-line sizing guidelines. The T-shirts were large at best, so I had to return them, and was charged £7.94 for two-way shipping?
I had to pay £3.95 for postage return label which I was happy to take the hit on even though the T-shirts were not as described due to wrong sizing or incorrect labels which I believe they are well aware of based on other reviews on TP?
However, I was then surprised to be charged for £3.99 for DGW's original postage which under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, they are obliged to refund, as is the case with all companies for on-line purchases.
David Gandy however, has different ideas. They believe that the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 do not apply to them, and do all they can in avoiding them. They will refer you back to their T&Cs in an effort to avoid refunding the initial postage on returned items which they are obliged to.
They are polite, but annoying, and really don’t know how customer service works. It’s certainly not by fobbing customers off at every turn, or making things difficult by saying “We require photos to be provided prior to returning items so that we can properly review and address claims of incorrect sizing or faults” Photos of what exactly? I tried one on, and it did not fit due to wrong sizing or labelling? I am saying they were NOT XXL & at best Large? What photos?
For me the £3.99 is just a matter of principal, and they should not be expecting customers to pay this on a £40 T-Shirt which they have no doubt factored in to the item costs?
8 Days after the return delivered back, and still no refund. I contacted them regarding this, and also about the £3.99 initial postage costs that should have been refunded. In actual fact all postage costs should have been refunded as the goods were faulty because either the sizing was wrong, or they were possibly mis-labelled.
David Gandy, just not interested. They only fob you off & refer you back to the T&Cs that state original postage will be charged. Such a scam!
NB: DGW tried to get TP to remove my review citing defamation. TP reviewed my post, and found nothing untoward.
I have notified Trading standards of DGW's failure to adhere to the consumer contract regulations 2013,and will contact my credit card for a charge back of the initial postage costs that should have been refunded.

Items didn't turn up
Items didn't turn up, I then emailed customer service 4 times over the space of a week with no reply.
I really like the clothes but the experience has been disappointing. Customer service appears to be a very basic AI bot - which at best, is crap.
I'm still wondering how I get my items or indeed a refund. Great clothes, sadly poor customer service.

Shocking return charge
Reasonable products - I bought a dressing gown - but £15 return fee is ridiclous!

Great Quality but just don't try to return anything.
The following review was posted in November and since then my concerns were addressed very satisfactorily, by the MD - excellent personal attention. I'm not sure why the David Gandy customer services team have only just replied to it, 6 months later. I wouldn't wish this review to remain on Trust Pilot as negative feedback.
To begin, it's important to say that the quality of fabrics and construction are excellent - sizing can be an issue and DGW take no responsibilty if the sizing is very different to the 'size chart' as advertised with the clothing, on-line. Returning an item can be frustrating and costly. I have recently bought swim shorts that were wrongly sized - I know this because I have many items from DGW and am aware of their blocks and sizing. I needed to return them. To begin with the website couldn't match my email address to my order and there is no longer a Customer Services telephone line - just automated chat. Once that was sorted, I had to pay £3.99 for postage return label (fair enough, they are a small company and need to protect themselves from 'casual browsers' who order and retun as a matter of course). However, I was then surprised to be charged for £2.99 for DGW's original postage; postage that I hadn't used as I had already paid £8.99? for DPD delivery. They were imposing a charge that had never been incurred. When I raised this, they only refer me back to the T&Cs that state original postage will be charged. It's a racket. Strictly speaking, the goods were faulty because the sizing was wrong, or possibly wrongly labelled. In such cases all postage should be covered by DGW. The item was in the sale but that shouldn't be an excuse for sending out goods that are not as described. Sadly, on principle and because of the frustration it has caused, this will be my my last purchase from DGW. I effectively have paid nearly £15 for P&P. and have wasted a disproportionate amount of time (including writing this review) on following it up.

Excellent. Every time.
I have ordered numerous times now and delivery is swift. Though I never trusted EVRI, I trust David Gandy’s team to deliver good service. So far, all my items arrived promptly and every order is to satisfaction. Quality is soft and durable if anyone cares to read the care label. I am moving back to Singapore soon so hope DGW delivers there too. Meanwhile, keep up the good work. I will be continuing my support even from sunny Singapore.

Drop in quality
I have previously ordered the Five T Shirt set in Black, and in Blue, both lovely quality and washed great.
This White set not so great.....they appear of lesser/thinner quality and they definitely do not wash as well.
I don not feel like i have received value for money on this purchase.
Delivery was fine.
