Written by the company

Britain's most-loved Diary! The history of the Dairy Diary began way back in 1968, when the Milk Marketing Board launched a cookbook to be sold via the milkman. The book was The Dairy Book of Home Cookery. The Dairy Diary followed in the early eighties, beginning with the 1982 Dairy Diary. Since then, millions of Dairy Diaries and cookbooks have been purchased and they are seen as one of the most trusted brand for recipes in the UK.

Latest copy

Bought the latest copy of the cookbook, to replace worn out older copies.

Customer service from Dairy Diary was excellent, too.

Ordered the little box of cards and they are absolutely beautiful. What I love about your stuff is the fact that everything is pretty and we also get to help in choosing what pictures you’re going to use. Been buying stuff off of Dairy Diary for many years going back to the 60s and I’ve never been disappointed. This particular set of cards is going to make it easy to have cards available to send out whenever you need to. Already have dairy diary, pocket diary, notebook and the cookery book over Christmas.

A quality product with a friendly feel…

I think the Dairy Diary is a quality product, well priced (though Customs and postage make it expensive in Europe) and I enjoy all the varied information it contains.
On the downside, I wish D. Diary would vary the colour scheme for the cover because my previous years' are stored together and they all look the same on the shelf. Infuriating when I'm looking for something!

Waste of money

Very disappointed in the recipes included in the book. I wouldn't make any of them so the book has gone straight to my favourite charity shop. A complete waste of money.

Reply from Dairy Diary

Hi Jan, I'm sorry that you are disappointed with the Just for One or Two cookbook. Recipe selections are very subjective and it's a shame that these didn't appeal to you. If you would like us to send you a free Dairy Diary then please email us through the Dairy Diary website. We're sure that you'll enjoy some of the delicious recipes in the diary instead. Best wishes Emily (Head of Dairy Diary)
