No refunds!
Just like all the others, I got caught by the automatic 12 month renewal. I called as soon as I saw my statement.
No refunds. Interesting that the customer service number on my bill reads: 818-699-9948 TN. While the company HQ is Nashville, the CSR is in Los Angeles County, CA. I really don't want my $$ going to the west coast. Why the lie on my statement?
I'm dissapointed
I've recently become aware a new movie the daily wire is releasing. The trailer portrays a disregarding and essentially a mockery of transgenderism in a very insensitive manner. Just because people don't understand something does not give them the right to dehumanise a whole demographic. Shame on you guys for airing this kind of stuff.
I'm a conservative Christian but…
I'm a conservative Christian but haven't been able to find any value in my subscription to the daily wire. I'm frustrated that their policies are no refunds, no cancellations, regardless of the quality of the products they tout around as being superior to liberal competitors. Those products also have no return policy. My husband got a razor from Jeremy's razors because we wanted to spend our money on a company that had values, but the razor broke coming out of the box and is unusable and they won't take it back even though I paid for a years worth of razor heads. Just really disappointed because we wanted to believe in this company and support good work, only to find out they're a bunch of scammers promising better products and offering lesser quality than liberal competitors.
Wanted to support the organization. Turns out ethics means nothing to the Daily Wire. What a disappointment.
I wanted to support the organization because I stand behind their mission and the subscription was reasonably priced over Thanksgiving. I'm in Israel and I wanted to support pro-Israel media, particularly Ben Shapiro's passion for truth-telling in this region.
BIG MISTAKE. I should have read reviews of the Android app -- and these Trustpilot reviews -- first!
First, you need the app to access premium subscriber content. Unfortunately, the app is GARBAGE. It doesn't even work as well as free podcast players. It crashes repeatedly during play and then doesn't remember your play history so you have to go in from the beginning again.
Second, there are dozens of reviews in the Play Store complaining about the app. In many cases, a friendly DW rep has chimed in to say sorry you're having trouble, make sure your app is updated to the latest version, contact us if you continue to experience problems. No problem, right?
Well, I contacted their Member Experience team on November 22, 2023. They replied to say "As per our policy, all sales are final, and we do not offer refunds. This policy is outlined in our terms and conditions agreed upon at the time of purchase." That's it - no refunds. No accountability at their end. No improvements to the app, that I can see.
Further emails to them every few days since the end of November have not produced a single reply, but a few days ago, I got an email to indicate that my subscription was cancelled but is still valid until November 2024. No refund that I can see, just a cancellation.
THAT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH. This is a company that claims it's all about values, all about representing ordinary people. And I can see here that they have a pattern of bilking ordinary people out of their money with zero accountability.
I want to believe this has nothing to do with Ben Shapiro and the other hosts, who claim to share my values, but this kind of garbage treatment has got to come from the top.
What a disappointment.
They took my money after I canceled
I received a gift sub last year from my son. Before the renewal date I received an email asking me if I wanted to renew. I responded that I wanted to cancel the sub. Today (two weeks later) they charged my account $258.00. These folks are not honest. No phone number to call them. No customer service department. Only a bot that knew nothing.
Not a reputable company
The Daily Wire boasts about their membership. How many members want out? I received a membership as a gift in December 2023. In order to access the service I had to enter a credit card and agree to auto renewal. That should have been a clue. The Daily Wire claims that a renewal notice was sent to me via email on Nov 30, 2024. I did not receive this email from them. I noticed a charge for auto renewal on Jan 5th, 2024. The Daily Wire charged my credit card on file for another year's subscription. I called immediately to cancel and was told that their cancellation policy did not offer a refund. I would be cancelled on 12/31/2024. Really! Any reputable firm would refund this charge from someone that does not want the service. Do they need me that bad? I'm a senior on a fixed budget and don't have an extra $153.00 due to Bidenomics. They don't care about the regular folks, just the money.
I paid for the half price subscription and was charged twice.…
I paid for the half price subscription last year on my first credit card. After signing up, I could not log in. I contacted customer service and they basically said "that's weird, we show no payment". So, signed up again and used a different card, using the exact same contact info and username as the first time. I saw they actually charged me the first time when I got my CC statement, and asked them to please refund one of them, as I clearly only had one account. They said they'd review it and get back to me. That was 3 months ago and my repeated emails since then are ignored.
I want to support these guys but their business practices are primeval at best. I cancelled my subscription and am considering cancelling my credit cards before the renewal period based on some of the other comments I've read here. Daily Wire please ramp up your game, this is embarrassing
Junk
Junk. Wanted to watch something they advertised to have. They do not.
Money stealers
Money stealers
I purchased the daily wire at 98$ last year and didn't renew nor did I recieve any notifications about renewing I received my visa statement last month with a huge surprise saying I owed them now 228$. I emailed the company and they refuse to
issue me a refund. Do not purchase anything from this company
Can't View Subscriber Content. No Cust Support.
Software glitches on their site make it impossible for paid customers to view the subscriber content. Customer service is abysmal. After a year of suffering inability to see the movies and series under my subscription, I've canceled. This was a gift for my mother who's in her 80's. Neither she nor I were able to get their movies to play on several browsers. Their customer service was *literally* non-existent. First auto-email acknowledged the service request. Second auto-mail sent 4 days later contained an apology for the backlog and said something to the effect of, "we trust your problem is resolved now". What the F? Resolved in the time they never helped us? Completely inept and lame. $100 down the drain. Never again.
Now will try to get reimbursement from my credit card.
Auto renew company/no refund
I signed up for the insider plus 12 month subscription on Black Friday 2022. They were offering a half off deal (about $130). My subscription auto renewed 12 months later at their full price rate ($260). I contacted daily wire within a week after I saw the price on my credit card. They refused to work with me to give me a refund me. I offered to pay 1 month and refund me 11 months. I did not intend to auto subscribe to their service. I would not pay $260 for their content. Most companies have a forgiveness period for auto renewals the daily wire does not and I don’t think this should be legal as they set your account up to auto renew.
I really want this company to be…
I really want this company to be successful, but your app sucks. It has been glitching for months and now 2 weeks after my all access vip membership renews it k8cks me off evertime I try to watch something, so I'm currently paying $240 a year to listen to the shows on spotify. And trying to get help from online support is absolutely useless and if they have a number to contact they certainly keep that hidden. I'm beyond frustrated and starting to just not trust this company at all.
Great source for honest
Great source for honest, reliable news. They took on mainstream media and their lies and it worked. More people now rely on the Daily Wire for the truth than ever before. I love this organization and am so glad I discovered it!
I subscribed to Daily Wire All Access…
I subscribed to Daily Wire All Access last year in an effort to support their programming. My intent was a one time larger donation but they set you up on auto renew. I was going to downgrade or cancel my subscription this year as I can't afford $250 a year. They renewed this year without any notification either before or after they charged me. I contacted them and was told no refunds cancellations can only be done before renewal date. Yet they send no notice. I can only cancel for next year. Just beware. Seems like a rather unsavory way to do business.
Scammers !
Scammers !
My anual membership was renewed without my consent, when I saw the deduction on my card I immediately contact them (really hard to get hold of) to request the refund and to explain that I never intended to renew the subscription for this product.
The illegal charges on my card was done Nov 27, I contacted them on Dec 8 and they only replied on Dec 14.
They replied saying that all purchases are final sale and bla bla bla. Their replied had nothing do with my initial concern and I have not yet received my refund.
Daily Wire Commits Fraud…
Daily Wire needs to experience a class action suit - I'm sure I'm not the only one that has paid for "two day shipping" and received product over a week later.
I'm guessing there's a large amount of money they have scammed people out of when you add up all the shoppers times $13.
There is no verbiage regarding anything that would warn the customer of additional time/days/delays.
There is an option for a special service - not "standard" - that costs more and they take your money and then do not provide the service.
No warning
No link to click to see more information
Just take the money and run
You want this service? Then Pay.
Didn't get the service? Too bad - we're keeping the money anyway.
That is fraud.
Stay FAR away from The Daily Wire subscriptions
I initially thought the whole "big con" conversation was a joke, but now I fully believe it. I requested to cancel my subscription the day TDW charged me. I explained to them that I was facing a financial hardship and could not afford the membership. They took 2 weeks to reply and in their reply said:
"Thank you for your email and I am so very sorry for the delay in response. We have had such a positive response to our Black Friday promotion that we are still responding to all the inquiries from the holiday! Sorry all sales are final."
How incredibly tone deaf. Spend your money with companies who respect you, TDW obviously does not care about their customers, they only care about money. Shocker. They're everything they supposedly stand against.
Terrific and Factual website
This site works very hard to present the facts; that is so rare these days. When they write an opinion piece you know it; also rare. They expose so much of the far left goings on around the country. Not normal liberal things; far left nuts kind of stuff that needs to be heard!
Tried to get refund…no dice
Tried to get refund…no dice.
I figure I had a chance the day I saw the transaction on my card to cancel so I emailed them and don’t get a response till days laters. Policy or not, I figure you’re in the business of a product, and a person no longer wants product and can’t get a refund??!!! It should be an automatic! What a letdown!!
