Poor initial response but came good in the end.
My client's web address was wrongly attached to a business with a similar name. I opened a ticket to advise them of the error and the initial response was that there were no public sources to verify my claim.
After pointing out some public resources, they immediately took action and resolved the issue.
Well deserved 4 stars, in my opinion.

Went onto Cylex's to register my…
Went onto Cylex's to register my business. They wanted £1.00 for me to open my free listing. Then they sent me an email telling me they are taking £50.00 from my account unless I cancel my account. So I did. Now they are claiming they haven't received my second email cancelling. How do I stop them removing more money from my account.

Exceptional service!
I couldn't be happier with the great service received from Exquisite Mouldings & Fireplaces! Mark repaired my boiler, serviced my electric fireplace, and replaced a radiator with absolute professionalism and efficiency. Not only was the work completed to a high standard, but he also took the time to explain everything clearly. He was punctual, worked diligently, and left all work areas spotless. They are removing negative genuine…
They are removing negative genuine reviews because companies are reporting them.
It doesn't matter if you have had a bad experience as a customer, Cyclex will remove them so the company paying them looks good and clients get mislead into using a poor service. I now do not trust any positive reviews on this site.

Cylex censors reviews with genuine business experiences
Cylex censors online reviews about businesses in case they are negative and if they point to illicit activities conducted by the business outside of their professional activity.
When a company owner proposed a out-of-court settlement with a discrete private meeting, I was able to flag this and post it online just fine on many websites. On Cylex though, they censored the names first, then asked for proof of this "experience" claiming there was abuse report(from the company obviously).
After submitting the evidence to prove it wasn't defamatory, they then removed it for not having a "professional" experience.
Update 18/01/2025:
Thats a load of nonsense. I can show you plenty of 5 star reviews on your platform for other firms with the names of employees mentioned commending their character positvely or non-professional information outside of the business activities. I see no removal of "names" or cooking up other reasons to remove those reviews.
The censorship regime only starts when they recieve a negative review as has already been pointed out on both the UK and US trustpilot pages for Cylex.
The EU GDPR doesn't even apply to the UK after brexit, that's the law, and I have an email from these guys pointing at it for no reason.

Updated review after Cyclex responded well to my initial concern
Ive updated my initial review of 1/5 after speaking to Cyclex and they took on board what I had said to resolve my experience. It appears that part of the problem was through a link with a review company ,Yably, that appeared to be part of their site, but after clarification is separate (but none the less unhelpful )
I've given 3/ 5 this time, Cyclex responded courteously, but as I don't actually use the company , and this is my only experience of them I decided to give a neutral score.
My original post was..
My name appeared on thier website without my permission. It is misleading and has contact buttons which lead to other businesses that are nothing to do with me. It appears that I am being used to lead to adverts for others.it also contains a review that has no basis , and no written back up, and seems computer generated.
It would appear to be phishing, and I'm not happy about it.

Since contacting Cyclex direct, they have taken my link down as requested, and did so courteously and promptly.
I have suggested to them that they need to address the issues that bothered me, like changing the way links work, and in particular a company called Yably that seems to advertise with them that gave bogus personal reviews, (which appears to be Cyclex, but probably isnt..I am past caring)
I didn't ask to waste my time on any of this, so I don't feel like I can change the score, but at least Cyclex have been helpful in removing my name from them

Not sure about other reviews, positive or negative, but from my experience, the feedback from this company was very positive and they removed a review I requested them to remove, following a better service from a company I was complaining about and which really no longer applied so unfair to keep the review online.
