I am writing to share my frustrating and disappointing experience with Caoxian Shuanglong Arts & Crafts Plant, a company I initially trusted to manufacture a key component of my product, the Vivva Zen Garden. Unfortunately, they mishandled my requests for reimbursement and refused to take responsibility for a clear manufacturing defect, which has caused significant financial and reputational harm to my business.
Several months ago, I ordered a 500 bamboo trays from Caoxian Shuanglong Arts & Crafts Plant to be part of my Zen Garden product sold on Amazon. We were excited about the product and eager to provide customers with a high-quality, aesthetically pleasing experience. However, shortly after the product was released, we began receiving complaints. The bamboo trays started cracking and warping after only a few months, revealing a significant design flaw. The bases were too thin, and the bamboo grain ran in the wrong direction, causing the trays to crack under normal use.
As a result, customers began returning the product because the sand from the Zen Garden would fall through the cracks in the trays, rendering them unusable. My brand’s reputation suffered greatly, and I experienced over $30,000 in lost sales. Despite providing over 100 images of the damaged trays as evidence, Caoxian Shuanglong Arts & Crafts Plant refused to accept any responsibility, insisting that the trays left their factory in perfect condition.
The agent responsible for handling my case, Alice Li, has been especially unprofessional throughout this process. Instead of addressing my concerns, Alice mocked my requests for reimbursement by responding with smiley face emojis, which is both insulting and disrespectful. As a business owner who trusted their company and invested in their product, the least I expected was a responsible and respectful resolution to this problem. Instead, I was met with complete disregard and a refusal to acknowledge their role in this manufacturing failure.
I am sharing this experience to warn other business owners about the risks of working with Caoxian Shuanglong Arts & Crafts Plant and their representative, Alice Li. Their lack of accountability, professionalism, and refusal to make things right has caused irreparable harm to my business. I hope my experience serves as a cautionary tale for others seeking reliable manufacturing partners. Proceed with caution before choosing to work with this company.
