I visited Curry’s in Blanchardstown today. Upon browsing to find the most ideal laptop, I was attended to by 12 Mohsin. I just want to extend my gratitude for your top tier service. I went from just buying a laptop and ended up with a back pack, a mouse and a 3 year insurance settled…so much to be said for such a skill!! Thanking you kindly for your service.

After looking on Amazon for a WiFi extender I decided I would buy locally in Currys Navan. I purchased a TP link extender which stated 433mbps. I set it up at home and it was only performing at 25mbps even right beside my router which has a wi-fi speed of 500mbps.I returned to Currys Navan and spoke to the manager Ger (who I found very rude and abrupt) she said that they would not offer a refund eventhough it was not fit for purpose and was performing at less than 10% of its stated performance.I contacted the CCPC (competition and consumer protection commission)who informed me that if the product is not fit for purpose as advised on the box I'm entitled to a refund, replacement or repair. I returned to Currys and read them the response I received from the CCPC and again spoke to Ger ( who accused me of biting the head of her ) even though all I was reading her was the response from the CCPC. She called her senior manager Anant and I said I was giving them a chance to resolve the issue and he also refused the refund, replacement or repair. Neither Ger nor Anant offered to test the product in the store to see what rate it was performing which I found surprising.I have spent a lot in Currys over the years but will purchase from Amazon going forward. I have a ticket logged with the CCPC and just need to update it following Currys response.
I feel very disappointed with the response from managers in Navan and have always recommend the store as I have worked in IT for many years and have often been asked for advise by friends and family where to buy IT related products and I would always recommend Curry's Navan before buying online if the prices were closely matched. But I wont be doing that again.

Spent over 1600 euros with curry’s - items supposed to be delivered today. They have not turned up - impossible to speak to a human at curry’s (I spent over an hour calling to try get an update on delivery). They have taken my money alright but not delivered the products. Appalling customer service.
Update 2/4/26 - have emailed the email address below and no response within 48 hours. I assume Tracy is an AI generated email as notice that the same word for word response is posted to all negative reviews. Terrible experience - I would never use them again.

Absolutely shocking experience with Currys Ireland, avoid at all costs.
I purchased a monitor that turned out to be faulty, and what followed has been over a month of delays, poor communication, and a complete lack of accountability.
First, I was told a courier would collect the item, but they didn’t show up. I took time off work just to facilitate a collection that never happened. Eventually, after chasing multiple times, the item was finally collected.
From there, things only got worse.
I received confirmation from the courier that the item had been delivered, but Currys claimed it hadn’t reached their warehouse.
After a few days with no updates, I had to chase them again myself. I still didn’t receive proper confirmation, but instead got an email saying the replacement had been shipped.
Then came the most frustrating part, I waited nearly two weeks for the replacement and had to start chasing them again for updates. Eventually, support told me that I could contact the courier myself to track it. That is completely unacceptable. Currys arranged the delivery to store, so it should have been handled entirely between them and DPD, it is THEIR responsibility to manage their delivery partners, not mine.
After more than a month, I was still left without a monitor, without clear answers, and without any real support or effort on their part. I kept being told it would be delivered “the next day”, which simply never happened. At that stage, I requested a refund because I had completely lost confidence in the company. This entire experience shows a serious lack of organisation, ownership, and customer care. Once they have your money, it feels like they simply stop caring. I will not be buying from Currys again. Save yourself the stress and shop elsewhere.

Since posting my review about the faulty built in oven, the problem has not been resolved. Curry’s tech support is the worst I have ever dealt with. I spent hours on the phone been passed around with nobody willing to help.
Another two weeks have passed and Curry’s have still not resolved my problem. Their replies to reviews seem automated and they absolutely will not respond to any direct emails as they seem only interested in responding to reviews to create the illusion that they care about customers problems. I spent 600 euro on an oven that has not worked in the six weeks since I bought it

I bought a tumble dryer from Currys yesterday, and it's been a complete disaster. The machine is so loud it could wake the dead, and even after watching the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy, my clothes were still only half dry.
I specifically drove from Wexford to Waterford to buy it, trusting Currys as I always have. When I contacted them about the issue, I was told they would only replace it in-store. That means I now have to make another two-hour round trip (plus fuel costs) because they sold me a faulty product.
Thankfully this happened while I'm in the middle of building a new house — at least now I know exactly which retailer to avoid when buying all my appliances.

Stood there for 20 mins and asked for staff help 2 times but nobody came. Manager was too busy celebrating birthday taking whole staff from shop. Very disappointed behaviour. Wouldn’t even rate 1 star

The worst customer service ever. We went to buy an earphone. And we had a doubt about how to purchase the earphones. We asked an Indian girl, and she told us that " I am attending another customer " in a rude way. This is not the way to treat a customer.

A follow up from my previous review No contact. Got two emails and after calling curry's twice was told my pc would be collected. Nothing. Why am I not surprised. Three months now. The PC has a layer of dust on it now. Absolutely the worst service ever.

Absolutely outrageous from start to finish. Bought €450 laptop just before Christmas and doesn’t turn on at the start of February. Dropped in for repairs and they’re claiming it’s no longer under warranty as there is ‘liquid corrosion’. Laptop has never been near liquid, was told I’d get sent pictures of the motherboard damage, never got shown these photos. Got quoted £550 to fix it. No store credit no replacement no proof of damage nothing. I’m now out of pocket €450 after a month of using the laptop and they offer absolutely no help.

Great help from staff there! Got sorted quickly, 10/10 lads
Ordered a microwave to be picked up from Currys Naas Jigginstown. After having 2 replacements (both dented) and the second one being opened and checked at the Currys store, I asked for a third replacement to be delivered to my home since driving 28kms every single time probably costs more than the delivery with no guarantee that the next one won't be dented as well. First of all, Currys system itself is bad enough that it doesn't let their staff add delivery to home and they had to ask me to get a refund and place a new order putting more money on the spot to get home delivery, no compensation or discount was offered as well for my inconvenience. On top of that, the store manager was extremely rude and had the guts to tell me that I am not losing ANY money by travelling all the way to Currys(28kms) 3 times to collect my order only to find it dented everytime and offered no help at all. I would definitely not recommend this store. Got better service at Harvey Norman and DID for sure.

I bought a Beko oven and induction hob from this company in late December. It was fitted along with an integrated microwave, washing machine (all bought from the same store in waterford)
This amounted to over a 1000€.
The induction hob is only installed 6/7 weeks and it had failed. I have been trying without success to get either beko or Currys to send out a service call. Diabolical.
Now I have to physically drive from wexford to Waterford tomorrow to speak to someone in person!
Be very careful with these companies because they're aftercare is NON EXISTANT!

Terrible to deal with and cons.
No collection options when I went to a store to buy a cooker. Delivery only at a cost of €35 but all prices advertised less the delivery charge even online. Terrible experience when I asked them about false prices if I can’t collect. Staff member just smiled at me and shrugged. Never will I set foot in their store or buy from them.

Returned a power washer that was delivered severely damaged. Used DPD(same company who delivered the package). The return was arranged by Curry's. It's been over a month and they still have not replaced the item. I have emailed numerous times and called also. I've given the address details, order number, etc to multiple customer care people. Every email /call is like starting over again. All in all, an absolute nightmare to deal with.
31/03/2026 UPDATE
So after waiting 8 weeks, 8 phone calls and numerous emails.... I can get a refund because the product is no longer in stock. So I basically lent Curry's 450 euro interest free for 8 weeks. Grand job for them. I don't recommend purchasing anything online from this crowd. And one more thing, people want solutions not a 'sorry'from customer service reps.
