The initial experience is always disappointing you tend to be ignored in store. Eventually the young man who did turn up to serve me was polite but my friend was treated appallingly at the checkout. However the delivery staff were lovely polite efficient and quick.

Everything i wanted was in stock
Everything i wanted was in stock. Cheerful guy on the till. Got home and one of the 3 items was wrong. Went back exchanged without a fuss and apologised to for my inconveinience.

The rudest of staff, and not the most competitive of prices
I have just experienced the worst customer service i have ever seen. i went to Currys at Hedge End Southampton to buy a printer. When i have viewed the printers and decided on the one i wanted i asked a Guy in Currys shirt if he could help me, without looking up but giving a the vibe that i was a nuisance he called another assistant to come and help me. The person that came to help me was very helpful went through all the printer did, i agreed to by the printer and the assistant pointed out there was an additional 30% off this printer as there was a great big sign sitting on the printer. We went over to the till to pay for the printer and the helpful assistant then messages his supervisor on his walkie talkie to add the discount, he than had to call another 4 times before he got help (the shop was almost empty) finally the Supervisor came over, it was the guy who was so dismissive when i arrived and asked for help (a guy called Aps) he looked me up and down and said this printer does not get the discount. i said to him that the printer had a big sign on it saying additional 30% off the sales assistant had confirmed it to me all i got from this Aps was the sign was not on the printer first thing this morning (it was now 4pm) and he had been standing next to this printer with a big sign on it for over half an hour. If this was th Supervisor he did not know what was going on in his department and the his attitude when i asked for the discount i had been advertised and offered was so off it was had to believe, rude does not describe it, he should not be in customer service, i ended up walking out and buying my printer from a competitor at a better rate than Currys even with their extra 30%. Customers shop around Currys are not the cheapest in the market

Ended up ordering the wrong item sized…
Ended up ordering the wrong item sized item. Didn’t have much if any knowledge of what I wanted to know in order to sell the product- personal hygiene wasn’t great and made the interaction challenging at best
