I bought the demo laptop ,the only one left...whilst the staff were friendly and nice the practices they adopt are wrong.
I purchased a laptop for £1599 so it was dismantled from the display area.
I had to get the lady to wipe it down, then they had no box for it and were just going to plonk it into a curry's carrier bag...(pretty poor if you ask me)
I asked them about the box and any other accessories and paperwork that would normally be in the box .
And they said they didn't have the box as they dont keep them for the demo model.
So no protective box just some wrapping paper to wrap it in.
The power cable was bunged in the bag along with laptop.
I mentioned how poor the service was for someone buying the laptop without a box spending so much money etc.
And when I got home to set the laptop up it then flashed up that th Mcfee antiviral software had expired.. which pretty much says the laptop would have been on display for 12 months at least.
So I didn't get the benefit of the free antiviras.

Ordering from Currys was seamless. Ordered in store with helpful staff. Stephen took care of everything from sale, installation and delivery. (Chosen by me) Communication was there from start to finish. Installation guys were lovely too, friendly and polite and got on with the job leaving everything clean and tidy. Oh' and they telephoned to say they were on route too. I will be using Currys again for sure. Well done Currys at the Newport Road Cardiff site.

Bad before the good..

Fahan made too many mistakes and was very dismissive. I was told that he is new however, the information that he was being told was, by me. Fahan ordered the wrong phone model and mispelt my name after I had spelt it out for him. I did not appreciate how we needed to move three times during the single transaction. (Near tills, seated computers then to a mid-store till.)
The only reason I scored so high is because of Fozia Salim. She went above and beyond to ensure that the moblie exchange and my comfort was her highest priority. Nothing was too much. My disabilities were seen and attended to without hesitation and fuss as if I were someone she had known for years. (Instinct rather than over-bearing) (which I wholeheartedly appreciated. Thank you!) She remembered our conversation from the previous visit and was able to effortlessly hand me over to Leighton after she, once more, checked all the information was correct. Leighton was brilliant, very attentive and thorough. Both Fozia and Leighton were able to ease my mind and I genuinely felt lighter after leaving. Customer service at its finest. Thank you again Fozia Salim.
