Currys - Ashton-under-Lyne Reviews 

I bought a toaster and kettle from Ashton under Lyne. It was the end of the day and most of the staff must’ve been ready to check out because they had a bad day operator 533. Hamed was absolutely amazing. I work in customer services myself as a manager but this guy really sets the standard he was sharp enough to realise that I’d pick the wrong order took time to correct it dealt with the cards I was using which are usually tricky with these. He then even walked me out to my car in the rain help me put stuff in the car and overall I was absolutely blown away with how good he was if he’s not already on a management training program he should be he’s an absolute asset to your Company and really made my day. What a great ambassador for your Brand.

I spent £500 in store and when I paid I wasn’t asked if I had a nectar card , I forgot about it but at the same time I think staff should ask you this when buying a product

Sales assistant couldn't fault Farhad? But thought I'd put my item on buy now pay later, my application said it couldn't continue in the first stage. Excellent credit score, not missed a payment for 25 years, no debt etc. phoned the flexipay from the store, very unhelpful. Contacted them a couple of days later and was told my credit was rejected as I wasn't a risk of non payment so they wouldn't earn any interest off me. Was shocked at that and said so what your telling me is you only give people who you think you can take advantage of, credit? Wow.

Delivery very prompt, delivery staff polite, helpful, provided a great experience. I would commend Andy and Steve for a job well done

My new fridge was delivered within the specified time frame. The delivery man brought it through into the kitchen. He was very pleasant and efficient.

Staff friendly and efficient

Very easy to order and next day delivery only £10 more. Good communication and I had a message within a few hours to give me a time window for delivery. Arrival was spot on and the two delivery men were so pleasant and helpful carrying the machine into the house. I can't fault Currys and just hope I am as pleased with my machine now when I try it. Thank you for being reliable it's rare these days

to start im 92 year af age ive got awife ho is house bowned so buying washing macineis not one of one of my doing anyway down to currys iwhent iwas looking them when ayoung lady in wheel chair came and ask could she help she showed where they all where then pick one out we both whent to the till the she ask me did want a chair at 92 i carnt stand for to long so this young lady whent and got me one then we whent into buying it that young girl ask a lot about getting it deliverd i thought it was nice to have aperson treat this way thank you currys for the way i was treated and if i have ever have to go back currys i hope have the same person to serve again thank you A Mcfadden

I placed an order for pick-up and I think it would be helpful if there was some-one manning the collection point. Even though staff could see me waiting, I had to ask for service (after waiting for what seemed like 10 minutes). When I finally got someone to help, they were fine, I just would have preferred if he acknowledged me when I got there rather than pretend he couldn't see me. I would have understood if he needed to finish what he was doing. This has happened t me on more than one occasion in this branch.

The service I received was top notch. The member of staff that served me was very knowledgeable about the product I was interested in.
