Never use Curran and Pinner

Never use Curran and Pinner, I rent from them but after a change of circumstances I needed to end tenancy early, I have found them unfeeling and uncaring about the situation I found myself in, at my age they are helping make me homeless in my upcoming retirement by refusing my offer to surrender. they are inhuman and unfeeling towards renters, stay well clear.

Terrible landlord full [dis] service experience

As a general point now BTL is only for mugs by the time the govt gets its cut in punitive taxes + local council fees as do companies like this, while the landlord is regulated to death but companies like this and tenants act as they please

Contracted for full service lettings -
- went wrong from beginning when failed to redirect mail + deal with bills as they promised and got a bailifs notice to my new address once they tracked me down
- charged me to 'take away' furniture but cut it up with a chainsaw and put it in communal rubbish that got me in trouble with freeholder
- always take the tenant side no matter how ludicrous the situation or nature of the cost
- charged me multiple times for some work that was never done [i found out when i started dealing with tenants direct] which defeats the object of what i'm paying for
- low quality and high priced repair work - the handyman is obnoxious and has a terrible attitude
- never challenge the cost of works - on another site it says that they anyway also control the repair company / handyman etc so its one pocket to another and the more expensive the better
- they have specifically told me repairs and other works have been done when they haven't when i went to check when i could no longer trust them
- i was told once that a blocked drain needed 2 plumbers and specialist equipment and cost 500 pounds
- pushed me to take tenants that clearly are not suitable i assume to make their job easier - tenants turned out to be terrible as i predicted
- when the new electrical regs came in the appointed electrician charged for things that were easily googled as not needed and most popular 'scams' - again they refused to support my challenge

theres plenty more but you get the picture ....
