Problems with handling the issues.

The worst at handling the issues.
They will waste your time, money and nerve cells.
Avoid at any cost.
Call centers are always busy at any time,
AI-powered chatbots will guide you around so you'll feel like you're walking in circles.
Old chat bot will show you the same not working points of contact.
Emails will be rejected with the error code 550.
WhatsUp will have the same AI-powered chatbot that will say you "Hi, we vaporized all the humans in this company" (actually they didn't say that, but they'll left you with this feeling).

*UPDATE*: they contacted me and solved the issue after I left the review under their HQ in Lisbon on Google Maps.

Incredibly slow

Incredibly slow, incompetent and rarely able to do anything right. Zero care for customers and no attempt at all to do any better. Forever waiting times, that's if they even manage to not lose your packages. Even within same country they can't move anything at a decent pace, only reason they are so bad is because they don't have large enough competition so they don't feel the need to do better at all since there's barely any other choice.

The worst postal company in Europe

The worst postal company in Europe, and possibly the world. I’m genuinely afraid to buy anything online because of your service. It is absolutely horrendous.

Receiving these notifications with zero communication has become a daily occurrence.
“It was impossible to get to the address” and “The recipient did not answer.”
Complete nonsense.

Not careful for delivery

They delivered my parcel at wrong location and they do not tell me about it. My passport is lost in this parcel by ctt. They do not listen to customer problem and they are not telling to me about it’s delivery proof or receipt .

I will become the customer that they…

I will become the customer that they will hate to have. I will fight no matter how much time it takes.Package never delivered, wrong address ? No lazy workers. You are just LAZYY. You don’t want to deliver so you put wrong adress to get rid of packages and ship them back so you don’t have to work. CTT you deserve a 0 rating and 1 star is already too much for your non existent devices.

CTT is probably the worst delivery…

CTT is probably the worst delivery company in the world. I have lived all over the world and never experienced such a low value service.
Ordered several items on Amazon, I work remotely so I am always home during the day, yet, the delivery guy never even rings at my apartment. It never gets delivered! I only get the the notifications all the time, that the parcels could not be delivered.

Incredible, super frustrating. Hope you don’t need to use CTT!

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. They lost my package and didn’t receive the package and there WhatsApp chat was useless and never responded to my multiple questions.

Hopefully not too late but...

You're probably reading this after and not before using this company. But, if you're one of the very few people doing research in advance, this is your warning. Don't use them to send or receive anything or you'll lose your goods. Also, if you shop online or have people sending you goods to Portugal insist they don't use CTT or you'll lose your time, mind, and goods.

How can a Post Office and Bank be…NO SERVICE

How can a Post Office and Bank be closed between 12.30 and 14.00? They open from 09.00 until 18.00 with the 1 hour and a half closure at lunchtime. If you work and your lunch hour is from 13.00 until 14.00 how are you supposed to do anything face-to-face related to CTT? What sort of service is this?

They do not desrve even a star

They do not desrve even a star. Very bad service and made up reasons for their filures. Do not use and is unfortunte that Amazon.es is using them for Portugal deliveries. With such low services is no wonder why so many Portuguese choose to live abroad!

One of the worst delivery services in the world!

One of the worst delivery services I've encountered around the world, and I've lived in many places!
They send you a 12 hour window to wait for a parcel and then at the end of the day, the cancel the delivery saying "external factors have affected" it, or that "they couldn't pass by your building"! Such unacceptable customer service and of course, nobody to talk to, and their website is SO BAD that most links are errors, or a fillable form does not actually let you fill it in! They should be ashamed of themselves, but sadly, they don't care one bit.

One of Europe's most backward postal services

This must be one of Europe's most backward universal postal service providers.

Where other countries have made it possible to print electronic stamps at home so you don't need to keep a stock of old-fashioned stamps or go to the post office just to post a rare letter, there is no such feature on offer in Portugal. They don't know what digital service is yet.

If you do go to the post office, expect to wait 30-40 minutes before being served (Ermesinde, Valongo, Porto). Too much staff spend their time in the back office instead of helping customers, who clearly don't matter.

Most letterboxes in the street have been removed. It's getting increasingly hard to find a place to post one of the few letters still required.

A piece of S***

A piece of s**t, I paid 55€ for my package and they came always with a different excuses: We weren’t able to delivered your package because is missing the number of the street, which is not true is just because they don’t like work that’s the true.

Terrible service

Terrible service. Unreliable and always delayed. I work from home, and my office desk is 1 meter from my front door and yet they are not ashamed to write that the recipient did not answer, which is an absolute LIE. This happened multiple times already and usually takes 2 more days to deliver than the expected delivery date.

The worst experience in Lisbon

To receive items from abroad. Gifts or used items or even it is my personal items for moving, ( some people from far, they might send more than once) they will still taxing you.

One thing that I can never understand that they will even taxing you for DELIVERY FEES paid by the person who sent from even outside of the Portugal and Europe. And nobody can explain me why. I am now curious even if it is legal.

I spoke on the phone and CTT worker seems to believe many other European countries are the same such as France, he said and believed.

I lived in many countries in the world in clouding France, here is my answer, NO. I never had such a problem with post office to receive my items. France, they won’t ask you for tax on Gift or lower value of items and used items under 45e of value. and you do not need to go over internet to fill up the form unless it is Comercial ones, they will deliver right straight to people.

So my family sent my clothes etc all used plus some snacks from my country, they chose faster delivery even it cost them more) and I am responsible to pay more tax even for that.
With this strange process, I get the package in 3weeks while I always got the package within 1week in France and the UK . 🤯

I don’t find any logic here. It seems not right to me. They should stop billing people and play monopoly.

The worst experience in Lisbon

The CTT on Rua de Santa Justa is run by the rudest people ever. They should be ashamed. The man should not be employed where he has to deal with the public. The woman is hardly better and sneezes all over you. It is the worst service I’ve ever known. He clearly speaks some English but refuses to do so when you go in to try and get a parcel. He shouts and waves his hands about. Although my husband had the item number my niff number and his photo id driving licence he still refused to hand over the parcel. So far this week we have spent a miserable 3 hours in this hostile branch. He needs to get a set of manner on.

They say they going to deliver at a given time and date ..u wait then they say its a box number and they can't deliver...which is a lie cause its a residential addrese..terribly agnoing u pay a service which they do not proved ..they are cheating and scaming ...
