Written by the company

As well as being a well-established industry trade body, the CSA* is also an award-winning learning & development specialist and an Approved Apprenticeship Training Provider. It supports its member firms, and employers in wider sectors, to train, improve and assess their workforces in our specialist areas of credit, collections, compliance, counter-fraud, and debt advice. Our mission is to ensure that professionals working in our industry and related sectors, have access to the best quality, up-to-the-minute training and development opportunities. In 2017, we became an Approved Apprenticeship Training Provider (you can find us on the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers here) and we are also an accredited centre for Functional Skills Assessment. We were proud to have recently achieved the highly sought-after Ofsted GOOD rating, which endorses our work to teach a challenging curriculum and highlights our culture of high expectations, high standards of integrity, and professional behaviour. Both our employer and apprentice feedback reviews are listed as “Excellent” on the gov.uk website for apprenticeships – you can view the reviews here. We champion collections and debt purchase as a highly regarded profession that offers attractive and rewarding career opportunities for all. Our dedicated Learning and Development team can offer everything from strategic consultancy on your workforce strategy, to specialist apprenticeships and individual virtual training modules on specific skills required by collections staff. We also offer the Collector Accreditation Initiative (CAI), an affordable online test to assess debt collectors’ knowledge and scope of understanding of compliance, enabling firms to mitigate regulatory risks and uphold the high standards of the CSA Code of Practice. The Collections Learning Initiative (CLI) is an affordable and effective way to upskill collections staff at all levels, giving them instant, convenient access to high quality, flexible virtual training materials tailored to the needs of the individual and the business.
