Poor aftersales
I find Crystal clear windows aftersales poor as I have had two problems since 23 November 2018 that are still unsolved. Broken double glazed unit and damp entering at window seal.

Jason and J did a professional and efficient job replacing a French windows, back door and double glazing unit replacement. They were pleasant , polite and accommodating.
The work was competitively priced up by the experienced team at Brislington ( Norman) and measured in detail shortly ( Simon) after. The manufacturing work was estimated precisely and a two day installation date offered, accepted and fulfilled. This is the3 rd time I have used Crystal Clear since 2915 for replacing all my wooden windows. They continue to offer a first class competitive service, and are Bristol based.

We had all of our windows and our patio doors replaced with Crystal Clear. It was a great experience overall. The team were quick to get us measured up and provide a quote and then production of the windows and doors was also quicker than expected! Installation was great and we have really noticed the difference. The house is a lot quieter and warmer now, which is fantastic! I'd very happily recommend Crystal Clear to anybody looking to replace their windows or doors.

Excellent products and service
This was a great experience from start to finish. The showroom has a wide range of products and the salesperson was helpful without being pushy, answering all of my questions, as he did when he visited to produce a quote. The installers were friendly and no trouble at all, cleaning up well afterwards and doing a really good job. There was an issue with my bay window which was only discovered after they started work but they fixed it without complaint. They had been supplied with the wrong handles and there was a (very small) scratch on one side of the frame but these were fixed within a few weeks. After the double glazing was fitted there was a noticeable drop in noise levels from outside and I was able to turn down the heating! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Crystal Clear - not only is the product excellent, the fitting and customer service was excellent too.

Good local company
This local company was recommended by a neighbour and we were very pleased with our new kitchen windows. Steve and Louis arrived promptly and completed the work efficiently and in good time. They managed to pick the only dry day we had had in weeks! They left everything in good order and put back my blinds, which I would have struggled with.

Seven windowed bays
We had used Crystal Clear Windows in the recent past to replace a bathroom window, a garage door and window and had been very satisfied with our experience. We needed to have our first and ground floor bay windows replaced because of rot and water inundation and also our lavatory window as the frame had buckled. This was a huge and anxiety making undertaking in a 1920s house especially as the bays were structural, seven windowed bays. The surveyor called twice to measure and take a section of wood out to assess the structure of the bay walls. James Maggs and the showroom staff kept us well informed through-out and the paperwork was clear and concise. Steve and his team, Louis, Charlie and Sean, were hardworking, punctual and polite. We were impressed with their standard of work. We appreciated Steve's kindness and found him to be a reassuring, safe pair of hands as he took us through problems as they arose, e.g. saving our curtain rails and replacing rotten timbers. The team took trouble to lay carpet protector and to clean and tidy up every day. The whole process took three days as was planned. We would recommend them highly.

We purchased a door from the a little while ago. Suddenly I was able to lock the door (turned out something on the outside just slipped). Everyone I spoke to was so friendly and helpful and they came and fixed it within at most 2 hours. Such a lovely company.

Poor quality install and service
This company both prepared an opening and installed a 3 fold bifold at the rear of our property. The doors were poorly installed and let water through at the base when it rains. The customer service has been awful with the staff being rude and not addressing this issue. They have placed blame with a third party contractor that they employed to complete the work.

Following inspection, we do not believe the doors themselves are leaking. Our findings indicate that the moisture ingress is occurring below the threshold via the concrete blockwork, which falls outside the scope of the door installation itself. This was discussed during our visit.
The preparation of the opening and associated groundwork was carried out by a third-party contractor, and while we coordinated this as part of the project, aspects of the surrounding structure and drainage are not part of the door system or installation.
We do, however, take customer service seriously and are disappointed to hear that you felt interactions were rude — this is not the standard we aim to provide. We remain willing to work with you and the contractor to help reach a practical resolution where possible.
As you are aware we have been in touch and will arrange a joint visit between the builder and our surveyor .

From the start of the process right up to the fitting of our new internal doors, our experience of Crystal Clear has been fantastic. James in the showroom in Bristol was knowledgeable, friendly and patient as we tried to determine the right product for us. He was brilliant at adjusting the final design for our needs. We were kept up to date with each step of the process and were happily surprised when we got the call to say our doors were ready nearly 6 weeks earlier than estimated. On the day of the fitting, our fitters Aaron and George were friendly, polite and very professional. They made sure that the doors were correctly fitted and it was obvious that they took pride in their work. They left our property tidy and left us very happy with the final result. We are so pleased that we chose Crystal Clear and delighted with our new doors.

Good quality but innnacurate ordering process
The quality of the product and the installation was very good, but the ordering process was vague with incomplete attention to detail. The order was handwritten, with many of the details being verbal rather than written. There was no printed confirmation, and so I had to eventually request confirmation of details, which they gave and then forgot about. Fortunately the errors were minor and easily fixed.

Well fitting door installed expertly
CrystalClear recently fitted a Broadfield aluminium door from their Autograph range plus a top light. Everything went smoothly from placing the order to final installation exactly as promised. In particular Kevin & Jason, the fitters, did a very neat job of removing the old timber frame and door and installing the new door.
