Too expensive very poor design

£12 for one small mini you'd expect quality, was a chimera, had to build most of it (happy to) but nothing fits properly, holes too small or non existent, groove lines extremely big, base was completely wrong (feet had parts to push through holes that didn't exists. Awful wouldnt recommene

A mixed opinion, won't order again.

Context : I live in France.
I've ordered three minis from Crooked Dice after a long time debating whether I should or not. I finally settled my hesitation aside, and ordered a bear, a big cat and a gorilla for my Frostgrave roaster.

Beside the fact that there is no way to know where the parcel ever is (they only tel you when it leaves the company), I've experienced a lot of frustration when the parcel arrived.

First off, I had to pay 15€ of customs upon getting the parcel, which is crazy to me. It basically added 50% of my order as an additional fee that I couldn't see anywhere on their site, although I might have missed it. That amounts to 45€ for three minis... Not ideal. Especially since I've already paid shipping costs.

Especially when the minis are a bit botched.
The bear's clearly missing a little stub of a tail, and the big cat was a real pain to glue together. The head didn't fit at all, so I had to put Green Stuff and form a mane around the collar so I could hold not only the head in place, but also hide the massive gaps the mold made.

The quality of the minis, where it's good, is great ; but this is way too expensive for what it is. No info on parcel, additional fees through customs on top of shipping costs and damaged plastic makes me a bit sour.

A very fun range of minis

A very fun range of minis. Very nostalgic, I've ordered quite a few from their sci fi range and the quality has been consistent with the price range. Good detail level and fun/easy to paint. I can recommend.

I'll Be Back For More

Fantastic miniatures. I've been buying random bits and bobs for around six months now and they have all been spot on. Hardly any mould lines if any at all, easy to clean. The Temporal Travellers are some of my all time favourite minis.

They have one of those sites where I have to trim the products basket because I end up adding way too much to it. But I'll be back for more.

First order, not the last

Accidentally came across the website looking for miniature crows for a project. Just Google-imaged it and found these to be the most natural looking ones out there.
Placed an order for some small bits. Old mattresses and garbage bins for my derelict city gaming board and of course the murder of crows I actually looked for.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality and speed of shipping (Netherlands). The metal crows are very finely detailed as are the resin terrain bits.

After I'm done moving house I'll definitely order some more stuff to further build up my gaming boards.

Get in quick, their stock goes fast!

Pros: Fast, Well priced, High Quality
Cons: Stock Levels and Website
There’s a great selection of miniatures on Crooked Dice - at least, when they’re in stock! It needs to be said if these guys restocked some of their sought after older lines, they’d get more sales; simple. At current, their website looks tired and empty. However, the few items I could get that were still available came fast, were well priced and a very high quality.
