Not the service I would expect from a professional service firm
I used this firm for a planning application. The application they submitted did not reflect what I had asked for and they didn’t check any of it with me, which led to a protracted process, and lots of related problems such as a breakdown in relationships with my neighbours who were given a significantly false impression of what I was seeking to do.
Their communications with me lacked honesty on occasion and a complaint about a clear lie I was told was not progressed.
Their communications with the planning officer were often unclear and lacked the politeness that should have been present when dealing with a public official.
I had to have the planning application taken over by another firm as Croft’s team simply didn’t know the local planning policy (I was told the planning officer was “making it up as she went along” when in fact she was simply citing actual planning policy directly relevant to my application). The new firm - Knights - was a breath of fresh air and behaved totally differently with both me and the planning officer and secured the planning permission Croft weren’t capable of securing.
So, I was very disappointed with the service I received from Croft, having received something very different from the website promises. I would never use them again and would not recommend them to anyone wanting to submit a planning application.
