Deeply Disappointing Experience During a Difficult Time
My mother chose Cripps (Tunbridge Wells) to handle her will because she trusted them and believed they would support her children when the time came. Given their reputation, our experience was deeply disappointing. What should have been a straightforward matter, the sale of a house, took almost two years to complete, during which I was constantly chasing for updates due to poor communication. This prolonged process made it very difficult to properly grieve, as time and energy were repeatedly spent trying to get basic information.
Delays were frequent, progress was often blamed on third parties, and the service felt entirely transactional. During an already painful period following the loss of my mother, there was no empathy or compassion shown.
This fell well below expectations for a firm of this standing, and I would not recommend them to anyone.
