My experience with Doogue + George (and in particular my lawyer Jon) was excellent. During what was a difficult stressful and not having much by way of prior knowledge nor experience with the courts and legal system, Jons approach to advice was informative, collaborative and thorough. Their expertise and professionalism was clearly evident as their ethics approach. I rarely write recommendations but have and would recommend the team ( though hopefully I’ll never need them again)

Doogue & George are arguably the best criminal defense law firm in Victoria. As such, one would expect their defense lawyers to be of an extremely high standard. Amelia Ramsay is a top quality, top-shelf professional who excels in a number of areas.

Firstly, Amelia is very patient and strategic. I found that when I was considering various options at times, I was seeing the picture that was directly right in front of me. The brilliance of Amelia however, is that she is viewing and considering those same options ten steps down the line. Thus the bigger picture and end game. Amelia has a great "gut feel," and clearly recognizes ''the vibe'' that is presenting itself at that exact minute. She then ''charters'' the course so to speak, that is appropriate to that vibe. Absolutely charming in her demeanor, Amelia is a delight to work with, even in what can be an uncomfortable experience for her clients. I would highly recommend Amelia Ramsay, whom I personally advised once upon a time, I had nicknamed "The Rolls Royce".
