We first started looking at Aspen Grange in Mid Janurary after another property we were looking at fell through. We were unsure at first but after Jo, Lucy and Sophie (who was covering) answered alot of our questions about things we could do after we move in (add a kitchen island etc) we decide to take the leap of faith.
We done a part exchange on our old house, which our estate agents were a bit pedantic over the Ts & Cs which Lucy Jo and Sam all resolved directly to avoid the stress on us.
At the point of reservation, our house was built and electrics fitted. We requested a few changes which although it had moved passed this stage of build, Jo and Lucy really went the extra mile to get what we really wanted (certain flooring) and pushed for additional extras (black electrical sockets, changing the shower, rear back garden light and boiling hot tap) they really have accommodated us as much as they were able too. They were so lovely throughout our whole experience and we felt in such safe hands.
I must also mention Rich and Teddy (site team) as they have gone above and beyond to make sure were happy with everything and been very accommodating, which we really appreciate.
The whole of the team has been extremely helpful, kind and welcoming. I cannot fault their Customer Service skills. They truly deserve a lot of recognition for what they have all done on behalf of Crest. We successfully moved in on 30th April without any delays, issues or hiccups.
The only bit of small constructive criticism is that anything you want to do after you move in pretty much voids warranty which we didn't find out until much later when we met Charlotte (customer relations manager)... when we were explaining what we were going to do post completion...
Changing a light - voids electrics
Relocating a radiator - voids plumbing
Getting a water softner - voids your boiler... and so on...
But equally if you ask Crest to not install the radiator or relocate it, they wont... so catch 22 either way.. Which does get quite frustrating when you just want to make your house a home...
However like I say I have given 5 * because of the overall exceptional customer service we've received and how smoothly the team at Aspen Grange have made the move.
Well done guys! Thank you from the house with black sockets haha....

Staff, her knowledge and her willingness to let us walk around the house on our own.

Avoid buying any house from Crest Nicholson! Poor build quality and customer service! They use Preim and Encore estate management companies to further extort money off residents! Avoid
Showed what can be done in a small space. Smart, clean with all amenities. Location not exactly West Quay as stated on website as it is the other side of the toll bridge. Parking not secure. Unsure regarding leasehold terms. Otherwise ideal for first time buyer who does not want a garden to maintain. Views not quite as pictured on website.

Buying a new home and moving is stressful at the best of times, but Joanne and Lucy at Aspen Grange genuinely made the whole process so much easier. They were always friendly, approachable and happy to help, no matter how many questions we had. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and they were brilliant at keeping things moving, including chasing solicitors and mortgage brokers for us when needed.A big thank you as well to everyone at Crest Nicholson who has helped since we moved in — such a professional, helpful and friendly team from start to finish. We’d also like to say a special thank you to Charlotte for the continued support since moving in. The help and support have been greatly appreciated and have made settling into our new home even easier.

The sales team and site building team have gone above and beyond for my home buying experience.
Any issues we have had since moving in has been resolved quickly and with the friendliest service.
Lucy, Joanne, Jack, Sam were all fantastic and I would 100% Aspen Grange to live on as it is a beautiful estate.

7 years ago we bought a Crest Nicholson property in TGV, Swindon, with the promise that the Estate would be finished & handed over within 5 years. 7 years later, it's far from finished or handed over. Excuse after excuse after excuse which all seem to just be delay tactics. Tactics to delay handover because it's more lucrative to Crest than to complete & handover to residents. 7 years down the line & roads remain untarred. Pavements are untarred. Verges are unfinished, uncut, unmaintained. We pay steep monthly fees to have the public areas maintained & yet verges are in a state ~ chocked with weeds & long grass. Maintenance & construction is still ongoing & evident in several places, with barrier boards littered along roads & public walkways. It's a disgrace & based on our experience, I'd caution anyone against purchasing a new build developed by CN.
I would like to say that the sales representative was very lovely and friendly and also professional. Sadly the house was lacking in some areas of the design compared to others we have seen.

Don’t be fooled by all of these positive reviews about the sales process. Once you’re through that and moved in, the lack of care is shocking. Tadpole Garden Village is an absolute state and not finished more than 10 years after they started. Disgraceful company that should not be allowed further development!
Lived in our house 9 years and they couldn’t care less about the surrounding development that they promised us in the sales process.
I would never purchase a home from Crest Nicholson again.
Felt very welcome when we walk through the door, the staff where very friendly and helpful with the stuff we asked also helped us with new ways to buy a house

We went to Ludlow Green to see the houses just to assess our options as first time buyers, and we completely fell in love with the development. Elyse was phenomenal and so knowledgeable. She answered all our questions and more, she was honest and it didn’t feel like she was just trying to push us to buy the first house we see (as we know can happen sometimes). Thanks to Elyse and to the amazing work on the development, we are going to be buying a house in the next phase of the development.
