I’m honestly disappointed with Roots of UX/UI and feel misled by how it was presented.
Most of the content reads like rough notes rather than a finished book. There is very little structure and the layout is poor, which is especially frustrating given that this is supposed to be a book about UX. It does not feel carefully edited or thought through.
What really undermined my confidence was the inclusion of incorrect information. For example, the claim that the Rosetta Stone is the world’s first logo is simply wrong. That is not a matter of opinion or interpretation. It is a basic factual error, and it should never have made it into a paid educational product. This raises serious questions about quality control.
The writing feels rushed, the presentation is weak, and overall it does not meet the standard I would expect from something sold as a UX reference.
I contacted support and was directed to a virtual assistant. I later noticed that refunds are not offered. Since then, I have continued to receive emails promoting UX component bundles. Given my experience with this book, and after reading other reviews, I will not be purchasing anything further from Creative Tim.
I provided the order number as requested, exactly as shown on my receipt. I have both the digital and physical editions. The fact that the order could not be found is concerning, but it does not change the substance of this review. I stand by everything above.

Creative Tim is a scammer.
I bought a template cost $100 from Creative Tim, and the technologies they provide are all outdated,
so the template doesn't even work.
I posted issue to the customer service, but receive nothing. Totally ignored.
No reply at all. Give my $100 back!!!

I got the complete "Roots of ui/ux design" package, including the physical book, PDF, and Figma files.
This work is absolutely stunning! It's packed with great explanations and illustrations for each subject.
As a web developer who loves creating beautiful user interfaces but isn't well-versed in designing them from scratch, I'll be able to streamline my daily design processes when building components and web apps.
Book is really poor quality, no alignements, bad ink, reuse of their previous content.

Ordered V5 of Material UI React Pro. When I tried to install it fails because of broken dependencies.
I emailed asking for support and they replied:
"Hey sorry to hear you had issues with the product. We just checked and it looks you have access to an Old version which has MUI v4 which is not supported anymore.
We just added the v5 on your account, this product: material-dashboard-pro-react more specifically."
Only they didn't add V5...they added V3 which also failed to install because of broken dependencies.

I bought the React Bundle from Creative Tim. The components are clean, modern, and super easy to drop into my existing projects, also the support team was quick to help when I had a small setup issue. Highly recommend if you want to speed up your development without sacrificing design quality.
I made the misstake of purchasing a React-Native project from them after having received a response from them quite fast on e-mail. Needless to say I should have read reviews about them first.
The template didn't work as expected, it didn't even build. The support was gone, no response from either the representative I had contact with before the purchase and none from the support form. I attempted to make a github issue as they ask people to do. That was automatically closed as soon as I had created it, and referenced their own ticket system... which is broken. It gave me an "Internal server error 500" when I try to file a ticket on the problem.
So, I'm stuck with a 250$ template I can't use. And no response from the technical support, or refund. Really bad business, I'd recommend anyone to stay away.
Since then I have established contact with Creative-Time representatives, which has restored some of my lost respect.
Purchased Material Dashboard 2 Pro React Template for over $100, upon installation I noticed just how many bugs it contained and how outdated the source code was, requested a refund, denied. They are based in Romania, so do I really need to say anything more)
Please avoid at all costs, total scam company!
Very poor support levels, they don't bother to check tickets and neither reply.
One of the worst company to deal with.
I purchased a theme from them and I try to reach the support for reporting some bugs they said we moved all bugs to report to GitHub and they didn't respond to GitHub issues also the code quality of the product was terrible
