I always go into Craft and Canvas when I visit Hebden Bridge. I like to see what new stock they have, but especially the knitting and crochet books.
Abbie works at the weekend and she always greets us with a smile and a cheery hello. The service is always great and the array of craft stock gives plenty of choice.

I purchased liquid charcoal for drawing. A couple of days later, I received a notification from Royal Mail that my parcel had been delivered, and the photograph had a signature, but it wasn't mine, even though it hadn't arrived. I emailed about it to the manager, Greg, who immediately determined that the parcel had been lost. The next day, he informed me that he had sent me a second package. I hope Craft and Canvas received the £20 insurance from Royal Mail for the lost parcel. I haven't encountered such a friendly company and such excellent service in a long time. This is now my favorite company, and I intend to only buy my painting materials here in the future.

Craft and Canvas stock a really thorough range of products, from leading brands. I discovered new products alongside those I know and love.
The shop is also comprehensively laid out so browsing is a very pleasant experience. The service is great - friendly and informative. Don't miss this if you're in Hebden Bridge and love your visual arts. It is one of those special art retailers where you leave feeling inspired to pick up a brush as soon as you get home.
