Bad, worse, worst!!

The worst service ever! (corendon village spa badhoevedorp)

A month ago, I booked the birthday spa package for my cousin. We got to the hotel and it seemed the spa receptionist was not present. The manager of the hotel showed up out of the blue and asked if he could help. We stated what we booked and he said there is no such thing. I didn’t have stable internet, so couldn’t show him immediately from the website. We had a back and forth conversation, until the receptionist showed up, checked the system and confirmed our reservation, while simultaneously letting us know she was the only one there and she didnt have time. She had to take care of the spa, massages, calls, emails and reception. What type of mismanagement is this. We had to go somewhere else.

I don’t know why, but I thought things would be different this time. I recommended this spa deal to my brother who’s birthday was yesterday (sunday, 23 nov 2025). We reserved it on Saturday and spoke to the receptionist who was in a haste everytime to hang up, cause seemingly she too was alone, and had a bunch of things to deal with. She reserved it for my brother and his wife. The Bday Package was advertised as 63 euro on the website (up until yesterday), she stated it was 84 euro and she doesn’t have anything to do with the website and she can’t help that. That was really rude. I called again in the morning, spoke to a man this time, it was a back and forth discussion again with multiple calls discussing the price. He ended up saying I should send the link of corendon hotels, to show him that it stated 63 euro. I did, and he decided to give my brother and wife the advertised price.

ONLY FOR THEM TO BE REFUSED SERVICE UPON ARRIVAL.

Honestly, the service is distasteful and chaotic. Nobody seems to know what the offered services actually are and the prices they go for. (The price was changed as of yesterday, and an email was sent to me with a lie, that it was like that for ages. LOL)

Worst service ever

Worst service ever. Booked a room for me and my family, and we have a child of one years old. They did not get any pillow or blanket for her. They promised to get it for over one hour (past bed time) and after talking with them 5 times they told us that they did not even have baby blankets or pillows. Never been to a hotel that does not.
Destroyed our night totally. Will never go back here

Cheap and cheerful

We have just returned from a week's stay at Grand Park Lara in Antalya and I thought I would share my experience.
The hotel is ok for a cheap & cheerful holiday but, when we were there it was full of noisy drunks so probably not suitable for people with young children or even the elderly looking for a quiet getaway.
Food and drink is mediocre with all inclusive ending at midnight and botted beer being charged over and above all inclusive.
On returning home I discovered I was missing an electric toothbrush which I had just purchased and, when I contacted the hotel Guest Relations they checked and said the had not found it. Surprising as I had it in the room prior to leaving and the only place my suitcases were out of my sight after checking out was whilst it was in left luggage prior to being picked up for our transfer to the airport. If it had been found the hotel said that they would not ship it on to me anyway.
If you are looking for a quiet holiday then this hotel is probably not for you. I will pay the extra next time and go somewhere more upmarket.

The check in lasted for three hours as…

The check in lasted for three hours as their reservation team was incapable of reading emails. Poorly trained staff that doesn't communicate internally. Full of clueless trainees that don't receive sufficient training for a 4-star hotel experience. One of the worst check in experiences ever. Would not use the services again.

Grand Park Lara Antalya

I stayed at the Grand Park Lara Hotel in Turkey from the 26th Nov to the 30th November 2023

My experience of the hotel was great but with a few small issues that I will comment on later in this review

The hotel was perfect for my short stay, the room was immaculately clean, and was kept that way by the cleaners by the hotel throughout my stay. Towels changed everyday, bed made and tea, coffee, sugar and creamer given everyday
The hotel facilities were perfect and kept very clean by the staff, pool area swept and cleaned every day sometimes on several occasions throughout the day

The restaurant was amazing, fresh food every day, cooked fresh on view to all, excellent food I cannot say I bad word against the restaurant. Perfect choices and plenty of them

There is just one thing I would think the hotel could improve on and that is customer service by some of the staff in the hotel, for example when serving drinks at the pool bar, actually speaking to the holiday makers and making eye contact is a must, but on a few occasions this was not done by the staff, as a solo traveller it made me feel uncomfortable goingng upto the bar and ordering a drink. The customer service I was given was terrible
Also when walking around the hotel I tried on several occasions when walking past staff smiling and saying good morning or good evening with no response back just looked at. Again terrible inactivation with holiday makers. I understand working in a hotel that size with 5000 rooms can be stressful and hard work for staff but ignoring and no interaction with the holiday makers is very bad business for the hotel and their reviews.

I felt I had to write this review because the hotel is amazing but apart from the staff issues I would give the hotel top ratings

I am writing to bring to your attention a concerning issue that my family and I experienced during our recent stay at your hotel in Amsterdam. My family of four stayed in one of your apartment bedrooms(room 2023) for six days, and unfortunately, we encountered fleas that were biting us during and after our stay. We are very disappointed and concerned about this situation.

As a family, we were looking forward to a pleasant stay at your hotel, but the presence of fleas in our room made our experience uncomfortable and distressing. We discovered fleas biting us, which resulted in itchy and uncomfortable bites on our skin. This not only disrupted our sleep but also affected our overall experience at your hotel.

As a hotel guest, I believe that it is unacceptable to have fleas in the room, especially considering the fact that we were staying in an apartment bedroom. We expect a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene from a reputable hotel like yours.

In light of this issue, we would like to request some form of compensation for the inconvenience and discomfort we experienced during our stay. We sincerely hope that you take our complaint seriously and take appropriate measures to address the issue to prevent it from happening in the future.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can occur, but we trust that you will take appropriate steps to rectify this matter and ensure that your guests do not encounter similar issues in the future. Big issue in your organization

You have a big issue in your organization at the Hotel. Some employees standing behind the check-in yourself desk are USELESS and UNHELPFUL ...
Machines for the self check-in doesn't work, moreover we have to come back 8th times at the reception because the system of the key room is not working !!
Fortunately some of your employees was helpful and our room was nice BUT our staying was a big mess thanks to your certain incompetents employees.

You say that we need reservation for our well-being however the pool was crowded of people and there is some people whose are throwing a bottle of water in the middle of the pool with no concerns for the safety of the others guests.
