Still no reply from Easy Jet - steer clear Not as it seems - don’t be fooled

27/11 - no help from you at all bar an rail on 20 yo say 7 days - repeat of what you’ve said since September

NOW GOING TO ABTA AND OMBUDSMAN
SHOCKING COMPANY

19/11 - you’ve guessed it - no response from EasyJet!!

08/11 over 7 days now -

see EasyJet reply to this review to contact them - I did I have heard nothing ,

Not as it seems

Hotel looks lovely , clean tidy lovely decor. Staff , most nice but not 5 star trained nice.
Manager was too busy the whole 7 days to talk to me about issues from day 1. Customer services were just there not really a help

Rooms - walks so thin not only could we smell next doors aftershave we heard them either having sex, going to the loo, arguing , talking every night for 4 nights. No support from hotel or Easy Jet. Last day at 5pm they offered us an hour in the sauna ???? It was 30 degrees outside

Food so basic , it’s not even Greek food , it’s basic tourist Greek food. Frozen kebabs , dry salad bowl at night. No real gluten options though they said they would cater . You have to queue for drinks in other bar if you don’t want wine or beer then bring to restaurent . It’s like a school canteen , no class no great service . If you love pizza and pasta you will love it here 😂 lunch time is the saviour , food is better . Any decent food has to be paid extra for at night . No a la carte , same day bar at night spruced up !

Drinks served in old plastic cups , you can buy classy plastic , so no excuse . Not a wide range included at all .

Hotel located in a run down area , nothing as described.

Hotel could be amazing but they are lost in own belief that they are a 5 star .
It’s a 3 star hotel , don’t be fooled

Cooks Club Corfu were just perfect!

Cooks Club Corfu were incredible! 10/10

Staff are so pleasant, very attentive and willing to help you all the time.
Food was just delicious, so much variation and each day the food changes in the restaurants/ pool bar to give you loads of choice. Loads of different cuisines so you can pick what you fancy. Lots of people were saying the food wasn’t great so we were a bit apprehensive, however this isn’t the case! the food is delicious! vegan choices aswell.
The hotel use an app for ordering food which is a really good design in my opinion, doesn’t feel so much like an all inclusive as you still get that table service from the staff delivering food.
Drinks included were fabulous, you can pay extra for certain spirits but there’s so much choice on the menu, you don’t really need to.
Main pool does get busy and people do get down early to put their towels down but we got loungers every day. Didn’t use the quiet pool as we liked the atmosphere of the main pool.
If you need a taxi, it’s super easy just ask hotel reception and they will book you one. They have one company they work with which were just a delight. You’re looking at €30 to get to old town and depending on traffic it’s about 20-30 mins.

Really enjoyed our experience and will definitely be going back to a cooks club in the future.

What an absolute shame and will NOT return!!

What an absolute shame!
The staff and the location is fantastic.BUT we are being overrun by people coming in with lots of children into the complex.
You book an adults only experience but your lounge pool area, dining areas become quickly overrun by p**s takers with lots of children, this has ruined our chilled out vibe holiday and we will not now return ever again.
Real shame as the staff are fantastic and the vibe ‘was’ a banging dance vibe and adults only experience for the first three days then became a sterile lame volume safe back beat music overrun by ferell kids, the last pack of scroungers came in to order drinks then proceeded one by one to go into our all inclusive restaurant and take large platefuls of all our paid for food.
This is the NOT acceptable and where are the management to deal with these issues???
No where!
and yes i have photos of these scroungers!
Edit:
I’m a 55 year old guy on holiday with my wife, we love going to new (to us) hotels and locations, as said above, you will not find a safer but more fun beach that’s part of an hotel, yes the hotel is as others have said is tired and in need of a proper revamp but do not let that diminish what could be a truly fantastic place for people wanting both a taste of ibiza chill out with a strong evening base line of beautiful music - i can send anyone links to the music played.
There is 3 things that MUST change and you must enquire directly before booking:
1). Have they stopped families with kids coming in???? including the scrounging p*^s takers?

2). Have they actually started to air condition the VERY basic restaurant labels as ‘Cantina’?
There is zero dress code except no wet bathing suits but then it is hotter in there than outside, it is not possible to sit in there at ANY point of the day and enjoy any food as you are constantly sweating, never known a restaurant to not be air conditioned properly - EVER!

3). FOOD!!!!!!
Yes what is offered is tasty but wow is it BASIC and minimal, if you have a truly english pallet you are going to struggle.
It’s groundhog day here, very very poor breakfast selection that just gets worse throughout the day.

Back to the heading; Such a shame!
CC you have magnificent staff that are incredibly hard working even through the 50c heat we endured for Friday and saturday (most days around 42-46c real feel).
The location of your pool/s, gym, sauna, bar, outside dining areas and the beach are excellent.
STOP BEING CHEAP SKATES AND REWARD YOUR STAFF AND CLIENTS BY FIXING THE VERY EASY ABOVE ISSUES - Please!

Do management and do better

Hotel Cook's Club Alanya
Do management, just in general, and DO BETTER.

Dear Cooks Club Alanya
Att:. Management Team Cook's Club

Please receive my observations from the just ended holiday at CC Alanya from Sunday September 15 to Sunday September 22.

We booked your hotel from the standard on SunWebs webpage and from looking at your homepage.

We totally bought the design and chill vibe feel.
Little did we know that chill vibe means totally worn down, broken and dirty.

The Hotel is NOT a 4 star hotel.
Listed below:
Many areas of dead and broken furniture, areas of dirt from maintenance problems that should either be solved or removed.
Torn and worn down textiles, if any at all. Plastic chairs are very uncomfortable without a cushion - I must say.
The pool area was swiped sporadically with a small broom around 8 o'clock in the morning (1 time only) and since all sunbeds were occupied at that time, the dirt was left to multiply.
The main pool itself was disgusting, full of sand and dirt.
The rooms need a serious makeover. We were in room 51. The rooms need a deep-clean. Probably an end-season issue but nevertheless, dirty wall, mattresses like a pithole and paint falling off the bathroom sink and tiles (bad choice for a re-design I must say).
The windows were so dirty that a look out was foggy and never gave a fair sunset vibe, from the inside of the room. Please see below, as we were all forced to stay inside for a couple of days.
Decorating the rooms - just an idea. There were bare walls in our suite. Why not reuse the style from the under-street-bridge to decorate the rooms with some "art".
We bought ½ board from home = DK, thought that ½ board included local drinks for dinner, buuuut NO.... . We could get water !!! (Not that I'm cheep and will always pay for the expected service) So, Fine ......... then I tried to add on a full board on location from the reception. Was told that the price was supplementary to the ½ board 55 Euro pr. day pr. person. That is pure madness. The price is double the price I got from Denmark. WHY on heavens earth do your Hotel Management not wish to earn my money for a sober price. I have never experienced anything like this, and I have worked as a travelling sales agent,
Soo. back to Management. Where is the Management at CC Alanya. Not a shade nor a shadow of management. No one to instruct or guide all the sweet and kind and VERY hardworking staff. Where is your own quality control? Who is responsible? It seemed to me that we were on a sinking ship......
At the end of the holiday, which ended to be ok, thanks to the brilliant staff on location, we bumped into several people.
Some were visiting for the first and last time (like us) some for the fourth (but definitely) last time. As they experienced a total downgrade from former years, 5 days of sickness and hospital and a bad holiday due to the down going spiral of standard. They were thinking about going for a B-day celebration but chose other options.

I highly recommend you to look into your quality, as too many of my kind of trust pilot posts will add miscredit to your hotel concept.
And I believe there will be more to come.
We saw a guest spitting out the food due to the anger of the quality.
And... having said this, you also have a responsibility towards your staff.
They can never be to blame, as they worked hard and were loyal to the CC family.

Please read below and consider.

Why spend my time writing this holiday summary to you?
I write, because I care for the next guests to come. People are working extremely hard to go on well deserved vacation and because it's your duty and obligation not to disappoint.
I write because I feel sorry for the working crew at CC Alanya.
I write because my holiday with my 2 girls never met the expectations we had, when looking so so so much forward to be on a vacation together, after some very hard and tough years.
We needed to mend but were troubled by the surrounding poor exterior and interior.

We felt extremely disappointed.

Having written all this I'm sorry to add that I do not believe this will matter to anyone in your management team.
I'm sure you don't think about one of my sentences if you're even reading them.

Now - however - other potential travelers will, and maybe they will think twice before ordering.

Kind regards
Gitte

Hotel 5/10

2 weeks Holiday at Cooks Club Alanya Turkey
The hotel is nice the rooms are ok, comfortable and very clean
The restaurant is not so nice, I paid for half board which included breakfast & evening meal
The breakfast was a typical Turkish breakfast which included ham, cheese, eggs boiled and scrambled, croissants and bread rolls and waffles
But the evening meals, of which I had once, not very good at all, I had the option of turkey, rice and vegetables and not much else, I was very disappointed and did not eat there again because as for the next 3 days I had food poisoning and was very poorly and was unable to leave my room. I also learnt afterwards so did a lot of other hotel guests … we did inform the management of the hotel but they didn’t care !

The drinks at the hotel bar are very expensive I ordered a pink gin and sprite at a cost of £11 I nearly fell of the bar stool !

I was offered to upgrade from half board to all inclusive at at a price of 55 euros per day - I declined

But on a positive note - as I didn’t want to eat at the hotel I booked a table at the the house of Bohem a perfect beach restaurant adjacent to the hotel - this restaurant is perfect, the food is amazing and at a reasonable price too - I visited this restaurant every night it was perfect .

I do not like leaving a negative review but I feel I needed to be honest . I will not be returning to cooks club in Alanya again

Et skønt sted

(English below)

Review in English:

We traveled to Cook's Club El Gouna in week 15, 2024, with Sunweb and had an overall wonderful stay. Although we didn’t get the right room upon arrival and had to switch the next day, the issue was handled smoothly.

The hotel staff was fantastic – always friendly, professional, and welcoming. We especially want to highlight Mahmoud Elshawry for his amazing drinks, great laughs, and fantastic energy. Bassem Samir also deserves a shoutout for brewing the perfect cup of coffee every morning, just the way I liked it.

The hotel being adults-only was perfect for us as a couple. The music by the pool was relaxing, and there were always enough sunbeds available no matter when we arrived – no issues with "reserved" spots. The location in El Gouna was also ideal; it's a safe, clean, and charming city in Egypt.

Overall, our experience at Cook's Club El Gouna was truly positive, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings.

Cooks Club Corfu is amazing!

We had an amazing holiday at Cooks Club Corfu. The staff is super helpful, the vibe is just perfect. Choice of food is a bit uneven, sometimes amazing and sometimes so-so but overall we loved the whole experience. If you want a quiet room, ask for a garden-view one where the chill pool is.

Update on this appalling hotel chain.Holiday ruined by Goldman Sachs

Update 01.10.23. Despite a promise of compensation from Cooks Club. They have not been in touch with me & don't respond to my email.
DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. IT'S A SHAMBLES!
My wife & I have just returned from a 9-night holiday at Cook's Club Hotel, Corfu. We booked the flight & hotel through British Airways Holidays, paying over £3,000 including £95 worth of BA Avios points. We opted for the hotel’s all-inclusive option called ‘Feel Free’ which Is described thus, ‘Simply choose from an array of enticing meals and drinks and order on your smartphone. Available from morning until night, lunch blends seamlessly into dinner, with no kitchen closures to interrupt the flow of your day. An ultra-upgraded experience like no other, ‘Feel Free’ offers culinary craftsmanship and exquisite beverages, served at your leisure.’
Unfortunately for us, that was not the case. The food was cold and congealed resembling leftovers you would find in a transport café bin with the ambience of a car ferry canteen. We complained to the hotel staff, who all agreed with us & felt they had remedied the situation by suggesting we spend even more money and enjoy dinner at the a la carte restaurant in the hotel as they also told us ‘The food is much much better; we have a different chef there’. In the ‘Feel Free’ option guests are allowed 1 evening meal at the a la carte restaurant. We had a reservation booked but we cancelled it because we did not want to risk enduring food poisoning as other guests had the day before.
Most of the staff were rude to the point of being verbally aggressive. Throwing drinks down on the bar & pulling the seat cushions from under us as we sat in the pool bar. The bar was meant to close at 1am & the waiter was clearing the bar or at 11.30pm. We raised many other issues with hotel Customer Services including ,No double bed on arrival, faulty motorbike hire, which caused us to break down & have to walk in 35-degree heat to the nearest garage for help, insufficient pool towels with accompanying advice of ‘get your own towels’. The room wasn’t made up on the 1st or 2nd day of our stay.
The hotel does not have an airport transfer service, which is strange for a 5*hotel. The staff at reception ordered a taxi for us to take to the airport to fly back to London. They told us it would arrive in 15 mins. However, it took an hour for the taxi to arrive & we missed our flight home. We had to change our flight to the next day & book another hotel for the night in Corfu.
Our experience of the appalling Cooks Club meant that we, at significant additional cost, paid for all of our meals elsewhere everyday and incur costly taxi fares and scooter hire. Ironically there was a huge benefit to Cook’s Clubs’ chronic failure and breach of contract as we met many Corfu residents who were utterly charming and provided wonderful food and company; all of which was totally absent at Cooks Club. I’m told Goldman Sachs own Cooks Club now which would explain why the quality of food and staff is so pitiful.
