Purchased their Ballet flats on 40% off…

Purchased their Ballet flats on 40% off with my regular converse size. The shoes were way too big and they didn't accept exchange or returns, don't pay or refund shipping. They do not offer any free shipping with any order.

Was left heartbroken with my birthday gift.

I couldn't care less what the policy says, nothing that was purchased online from a multi-billion company should have a no return policy.

Disgusting company, I wont be purchasing from them again.

I purchased a pair of shoes online

I purchased a pair of shoes online. They turned out to be too narrow and very very heavy. Admittedly, I should have checked their return policy before ordering them, but I did not. Be aware that they do not pay for any return shipping, need you to use a courier that asks for a signature. P
It turned out that FedEx was my cheapest option and with the signature and the surcharge for being worth over $100 it cost me $50 to return a pair of shoes that were worth $180. I certainly will not be ordering from them again.

I purchased a pair of shoes for my child

I purchased a pair of shoes for my child to last the school year. After less than 6 months of regular wear, the fabric has torn along the sole of the shoe. According to their customer service rep, although defects in fabric are covered by the warranty, this particular issue is considered normal wear and tear because my child had sweaty feet. Are their shoes not meant to be worn by a normal person? My warranty claim was denied despite providing multiple pictures that support my claim of defective fabric. They will do their best to skirt their warranty coverage. A shoe, especially for that price, should have more than a 6 month lifespan. Ridiculous.

Extremely disappointed with my recent…

Extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Converse.ca. Ordered sneakers, assuming a smooth delivery. Instead, I found out the hard way that you're expected to be home during standard work hours for signing. Like most people, I work during those hours and couldn't sign for my package, resulting in a $15 "restocking" fee if I refused to go and pick it up. Why select delivery if I have to pick up the delivery? Their inflexible policies show a complete disregard for customer convenience. I won't be ordering from them again. Leslie and Diego, not helpful!

Horribe experience

Horribe experience, Converse Canada does not double box their shoes, they wrap the shoe box in a thin piece of plastic and slap a label on for delivery. When the delivery arrived the shoe box was mangled, was purchased as a present so this was unacceptable. On top of that you have to pay for returns out your own pocket! It cost me $21 to return these shoes. Bad packaging and having to pay out of pocket for returns means I will never buy shoes from this website again.

Converse Falsely Advertises

I currently own three pairs of Converse shoes and my wife owns four. I recently ordered a pair of low-top Chuck Taylor’s in a wide size online and took a chance on them fitting. Particularly as no brick and mortar retail store stocks wide sizes to try on. However, before I placed my order, I checked Converse's online return policy should I need to order a different size. Their policy reads as follows,

"The Converse Canada website offers refunds rather than exchanges. That way you can re-order any style/color/size that you want, and at any time you want. We offer free shipping on replacement orders, please contact customer support for details."

While their policy reads, "We offer free shipping on replacement orders" seems rather explicit, you are told only after purchasing their products that, the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.
I can not imagine a more clear and deliberate example of false advertising than this situation. Any attempt to reconcile this deceit with Converse’s customer service is met with complete indifference. I am truly surprised and disappointed that a favoured popular and recognizable brand would operate in this fashion. Particularly when word of mouth can be disseminated loudly and broadly online. I am considering switching to a different sneaker brand, one that at the very least, respects and values its customers.
