Amazing customer service! We bought a tent and a air mattress, fast delivery to Auckland withing three days! Air mattress appeared to be faulty leaking all the air overnight. They sent a replacement same day I advised about the issue!
Excellent service. Bought a second pair of Meindl Philadelphia GTX ladies walking shoes. Easy to order, competitive price and fast delivery. Highly recommend Complete Outdoors.

After being badly let down by camp mania who said they couldn't meet the order for the tent we had arranged to have delivered I called the store up and Tom a very friendly ,polite chap helped us with one he had in stock.i only wish we had gone there before and saved the hassle. We now have the tent we need for this weekend ..thanks Tom and the Team ,it's so nice to have a polite and friendly person and a company that holds stock they say they have....superb...and our weekend can go ahead as planned thanks
I bought some sleeping mats that were not in stock but listed as available to order in 7-10 working days. As I wasn't in a hurry to receive the mats I ordered from completeoutdoors as I could not find a cheaper price anywhere else. In the end they were dispatched 2 days later by DPD (my favourite courier company) and received soon after.
I'm currently planning an upcoming trip and if I need anything else I'm sure I'll be using them again!
Requiring a particular Thermarest cushion this was stated as 7 - 10 days delivery. Needing it by mid February I ordered it and paid. Five days later I receive an email which says : "We have been notified this morning by Thermarest that they are currently out of stock of the Travel Cushion and currently have an estimated delivery timescale of early/mid Feb,"
A subsequent 'phone call confirmed that they could not guarantee that I would have it in time for my trip, and of course if it didn't arrive there would be no time to buy elsewhere.
Suggest you check BY PHONE whether they actually HAVE the items they are quoting 7-10 days or whether they are just hoping to source it in time!

The product ordered was listed as a 7-10 working day delivery item as we only keep small numbers but turn around from supplier is a few days. Customer placed order Lunch time, Thursday 16th January. We had notification the item was out of stock with Thermarest Europe on Tuesday 21st January and informed customer immediately. Advising the product was a new colour which currently had no expected date, so were unable to confirm delivery of the pillow by his required date of mid Feb (3 weeks away). Old colour had also sold out.
Stocking the large range of products we keep does sometimes mean we will sell out and so will our suppliers but we do our utmost to keep customers informed as soon as possible.
I ordered a sleeping bag online from completeoutdoors. When I got the sleeping bag I discovered an error in stitching. I contacted completeoutdoors.co.uk who told me to use the sleeping bag on my vacation and then send it back for repair. I did as told. After returning my sleeping bag Completeoutdoors wrote back that I could get my money back or wait for a new sleeping bag, which was on backorder. I got the money back incl. ekstra postage expenses. Completeoutdoors gave me excellent service and information all along. It is when you have a complaint you see what a shop manages. My best recommendations.
