They wouldn’t let me deactivate my subscription
They wouldn’t let me deactivate my subscription - I wasn’t using their service anymore and didn’t have their addresses registered to my company.
Took me days and much back and forth until they did it for me (wouldn’t work in my settings).
Dishonest and manipulative at best.
*edit* - I have been responded to below saying that my address was only updated with companies house - this is false, it was updated first on the companies made simple portal, of which I have screenshots*

For address services, the address needs to be updated at Companies House before the service can be cancelled. In this case, the address was changed directly with Companies House, so the change was not reflected on our system.
Once we were able to establish which company this related to, the service was cancelled within 30 minutes.
We’re sorry this wasn’t clearer from the outset.

Prompt, patient, courteous and effective
Had an issue for which I sought assistance. Ben took the call and was most helpful, a further call with Ben and in addition various email exchanges with Ruhel and the issue was sorted. What was so positive was the patience and promptness with which both responded in resolving my issue. And it should also be noted that every time I have occasion to call Companies Made Simple the phone is answered almost immediately (in these times an almost unique experience in itself)

I emailed a query, received a answer within 24 hours. Then, having uploaded an incorrect document, they notified me within hours asking me to double check / provide a alternative document, which I did.
