IT'S A SCAM

IT'S A SCAM, DON'T BUY FROM THEM

I bought glasses from this website as a present. It did not work for my friend. So I've sent them emails that I want a refund following their website policy. NO REPLY. I have sent the emails in German and English STILL NO REPLY.

I got an random invoice, still no reply to my emails about the refund till this day. I bought them in APRIL and we are in SEPTEMBER. It has been 5 months... and I think I will never get a reply.

Lied to and ignored

I emailed colordrop.de asking if I ordered a few frames to try on and returned the ones that didn't suit me would that be ok and let them know I was in the UK and asked if I would have to sort out import taxes or if they would do it. They responded that I would need to handle the tax and did not let me know that they "don't accept returns from outside the EU" as it later came to light.

They ignored my request for a refund of the VAT I paid to them when it was charged again at import.

When I asked to return the order they stated that "we do not offer returns outside the EU"

I'm having to revoke to order under EU legislation as (luckily) I received the glasses two weeks late due to a shipping error they made.

The product is also no good compared to others on the market. The lenses cast a lilac hue across all my vision and do not offer accurate colour reproduction.

My experience with them has been terrible, they combined orders to reduce their shipping costs, they lied to me and tried to refuse my legal rights. I can't even say that the product is worth dealing with their terrible customer service.

Updated as they tried to get this review taken down; still no refund and no apology. I sent the glasses back to them and knowing the package was coming as I requested a return, they refused the delivery at their office. Terrible human beings this lot, not interested in customers rights or ethics and with bad products also. Do yourself a favour and DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

I see looking at their other reviews they have flagged other negative reviews as "harmful or illegal content" too, which is not the case if you read the other review left by these people. Such underhand practices are the mark of liars and cheats.
