My overall experience was very good
My overall experience was very good. The item ordered apparently wasn't in stock when I ordered. As I wasn't in a hurry this didn't create a problem for this order. The item was back in stock in a few days and after about a week I received my item. They have good prices and it was more convenient to order online than struggling to find what I needed at one of the big box stores. This was my first time ordering from them and I had no reason to contact customer service so I can't comment about that. At the present I wouldn't hesitate to place another order with them.

1.15mm mechanical pencil lead
The several times I called Colorado Pen, everyone was so friendly and helpful. The best part of all was that Colorado Pen carried the 1.15mm size lead for a very unique mechanical pencil which I received in the 1960s from a friend who bought it in Japan. Our granddaughter has shown a great interest in using the mechanical pencil and will be very happy and surprised when we give her the mechanical pencil and replacement lead.
