They ruined the app and dont try to get help

They ruined the app. They make you have to click inside the daily jingle now to get points and absolutely not. Also what kind of app doesnt have a log out button? Who you feelin like? And their AI, as is ALL AI is dumb. I tried to ask it and it had no idea what I was talking about 🤣. Of course cause AI is dumb. Couldn't get me to a real person. I was gonna log out of my account only but since they want to hold me captive, I just took my last payout and deleted my account. Im not waiting 24 hours just to be told "yeaaaah we dont have a log out button" or some nonsene. Yeah I can delete the app, but thats not the point. What kind of app doesnt have a log out button? 🤣

I like that I can play games to earn…

I like that I can play games to earn extra coins. This app frequently offers double coin earnings for a limited time. However, after at least 4 times of playing long enough for maximum rewards, the app stopped keeping track of my playing activity and I wound up not getting my rewards. I contacted customer support the first time this happened and never got any response. The second time customer support claimed that there is no problem with the app and that it had to be my phone's problem. They suggest to upload screenshots in their link for proof, but the link never works. After losing out on about $50 total, I decided to uninstall this app. It was a waste of my time

I am loving this app so far!

I am loving this app so far. I started out using it by scanning my receipts, but I wasn't really making any coin so I started playing their games. Because I am scammed on so many other game apps, i decided to try to cash out when I had $5.00 worth of coins to cash out to venmo. And sure enough, they sent me my money. I have since cashed out two more times at $5.00 each... And now I have $15.00 sitting in venmo. I'm seeing all of these reviews that it is not a legit money making app but I am here to tell you, it is. Not only that, but I have since deleted All of my other gaming apps, because they all require me to take a photo of my driver's license as well as turn on my camera to take a selfie of myself before sending my first payment. Not cool at all. I deleted all of those apps. Coin Out is 100% legit. Highly recommend!

Coin out app sucks

Coin out app sucks, they don't accept scan receipts that are dated the same day. They say it's expired They don't give you the coins when you try to play the game. They cheat you. You don't get anything that you're supposed to get with the amount of receipts, it's a scam.

I never got my gaming coins

They didn't cheat me on receiving receipts from me , but they did cheat me on playing games. I amassed about ten thousand coins, and got credit for none of them. What a scam operation. I sent in proof at least 4 times and gave detailed information. Time to let these crooks go. Why are they offering something they can't give.

Additionally the two times I changed my password on my Amazon account, I kept getting 2 step notifications inferring that someone was trying to access my account. This never happened before providing acct info to CoinOut. So, you'll need to upgrade your security on all the account log ins you have provided to CoinOut.

I had 4 receipts for the same amount…

I had 4 receipts for the same amount because I bought 4 of the same things while they were on sale. It gave me credit for one, not all, of the receipts and said it was a duplicate. Each receipt had a different receipt number on it. Frustrating!

"Coin out" should be called "Con out"…

"Coin out" should be called "Con out" as they con you out of the money you have earned. When you cash out they make up a reason to not pay you and lock your account. I built up $60 and they will not give it to me saying that I voilated terms but just give vague general references. Don't waste your time with them.

Kudos to CoinOut

I use CoinOut, as well as numerous other receipt scanning apps. Linking your accounts with your password is something all the apps offer to obtain your e-receipts. There have been bugs along the way with CoinOut but they have dramatically improved in the last six months, adding more options to link for e-receipts. If you chose not to link your accounts, the choice is optional. I recently contacted customer service regarding a game payout during a 2X coin promo that did not credit. It happens on other apps also that I use. However, CoinOut responded within 24 hours and credited me the coins. This earned my 5 star review, as no other app has done that for missing credits during game play. CoinOut has impressed me with this and I will continue to use the app for game play and receipt linking and scanning.

Pathetic App

What can I say the reviews were right terrible App. The receipts allowed per week are low. You can only do so many receipts from one establishment, sorry I like Publix and shop there often. The points per receipt are very minimal. To get better points you must link your email and stores you shop at. Sorry I am not giving my passwords to these things to a App controlled by questionable people. They said I broke their scanning rules and simply denied my whopping $3 cash out with not explanation. I told them to keep their lousy $3. They should use the money to buy a clue.

They have improved dramatically.

Some of the poor reviews here are understandable, as I had some issues initially. But they have improved the receipt verification, so that I know immediately if there's an issue. This allows me to re-scan rather than lose points. Now that they have added earning capability through games, it's much easier to actually get rewards. The gaming points appear quickly, and payouts are the fastest I've seen. Major turnaround!

Shady and Sheisty App

My duplicate receipts on coin out app was already denied and I still reach the milestone for a $5 venmo card and immediately sending in a withdrawal request they block my account saying that my duplicate receipts was added to another account. If you already denied my duplicate receipts in the app and I still reach my 5,000 milestone for a $5 memo card why can't I get paid?

had high hopes for Coin Out

had high hopes for Coin Out, but unfortunately, it’s been a total letdown. At first, it seemed decent — scanning receipts and earning a few cents here and there — but over time, the payouts became smaller and smaller to the point where it’s barely worth the effort. Now, I’m lucky if I get a single cent per receipt.

Worse, the app constantly crashes or glitches when I try to upload receipts. The user interface feels clunky and outdated, and navigating through the app is frustrating. Sometimes it takes days just to process a single receipt, and customer support is basically nonexistent.

The worst part? They lowered the cash-out threshold and then made it harder to earn, which feels incredibly shady. I’ve spent months uploading receipts only to end up with a few dollars — definitely not worth the time or hassle.

Save yourself the trouble and look for a better, more reliable cashback app. Coin Out is a waste of time.

Easiest receipt app

Easiest receipt app. Simple and to the point. I have had a couple connection issues with my connected accounts but that only took one minute to sign back in it.
I've cash out three times, all for $25 each to PayPal just for receipt uploads.
I like how it doesn't offer a bunch of other ways to "earn." Say from playing games and doing surveys that you don't know if you're going to get paid out.
