We recently hired a minibus
We recently hired a minibus, from this company, and while I wouldn’t describe the first vehicle as truly executive standard, the service from our driver, Barry, more than made up for it.
Barry was absolutely excellent from start to finish. He arrived on time, got us to our venue promptly, and was there ready for our pick-up as agreed. He was more than happy to stop for bathroom breaks when needed and even accommodated extra drop-offs on the way home without any fuss.
Nothing was too much trouble, and Barry’s friendly, cheerful attitude made the whole journey enjoyable. He’s a real credit to the company. Thank you, Barry!

Good experience booking with CHC
Good experience booking with CHC. The drivers at A1 Minibus and Coach LTD were brilliant, incredibly understanding and patient with our group of 50 students. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Few nags with CHC, driver details didn’t show up 24 hours before our scheduled booking *which the site said it would* this made me feel a little anxious so had to double/triple check with CHC that everything was in order and that a driver had in fact been allocated to our booking - apart from that, everything went smoothly and the team at CHC were responsive and attentive.

My main concern was that the 2 minibuses I had hired would arrive at the venue in good time to pick us up, so that there would be no anxiety about when they would turn up. This they did splendidly, arriving with 45 minutes in hand. This was a great relief, and thereafter the drivers were very friendly and professional. The minibuses were very good quality.

Terrible Customer Relations Service
Terrible Customer Relations Service. Having complained about the poor service we received from this company I received a very weak and insufficient explanation. We paid nearly £500 for two very short journeys to and from my daughter’s wedding. I responded on 7 Jul to their email asking for further escalation of my complaint and received an automated email stating they ‘hoped’ to respond in 5 days. Still NOTHING! I am really angry that they only seem to want 5 star reviews and couldn’t care less about bad ones. Shame on you CHC.
Your response was not a thorough investigation- you asked the driver of the coach for his ‘version of events’. Not the 30 people who were on (or in this case not on) the coach. Accept some accountability- on such an important day this coach did not provide the service we expected. Very poor service and a company who refuses to accept responsibility.

I booked the coach with ease no…
I booked the coach with ease no problem. There were 14 in our party going to Frinton with a stop for lunch.
We are all OAPs and needed a lot of help getting on and off, our Driver Barry was very attentive and very patient.

No coach turned up at all. Awful
Absolutely disgraceful service. No coach turned up at all, without so much as a explanation or apology, leaving a whole class of children stranded all day and a charity hundreds of pounds out of pocket on emergency train tickets. The company did nothing to resolve this, treating my staff with absolute contempt and rudeness. They then dragged their heels with any response at all, not even offering compensation until pushed and pushed. Horrific. NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY.

Good reliable service
No issues with our booking, everything went really well and to plan. Everyone I spoke to during the booking process was very helpful. Only comment I'd make is that the transportation we were sent was a converted bus, not a coach as shown on the pictures online, however this was not a problem for us and fit our requirements. Driver was really reliable.

Excellent service overall. The coach was lovely, clean and comfortable, and both drivers were friendly and arrived on time for each part of the journey. I’ve knocked one star off for the return trip, as although the air‑con was on, the driver had the window open which made the coach quite hot. Otherwise, a smooth and reliable experience.

Very competitive prices. Communication from first contact was brilliant, even with me making alterations nothing was a bother. Abdul our drive arrived early and didn't rush us, he was there for us to return to also. I paid a deposit to allow us to drink on the coach. This was paid back in a timely manner.
