Bankruptcy Clever-Hotels

I just received a mail message of Clever-Hotels that they have requested insolvency at the Hamburg Court.
Potentially they are going in receivership and are causing grief to all customers who have booked and paid their reservation for a future date.

Fast Service and generous refund

I booked our annual family trip to Rome with them. A few days before our journey, my mother-in-law was diagnosed with a rare case of Leukemia.
We directly cancelled the flight, the hotel and the car rental and had no problems with cleverhotels.
They refunded us the full amount within two days. All I can say is that this company is generous and fast.

Prompt email response, friendly customer service and a quick cancellation.

We are booking our vacation to Turkey through this site since two years now. I made the booking for this summer in march, made the payment, got my voucher and everything went as usual as every year. Then we heard about the situation in Istanbul(where our Hotel was situated) and my wife got worried, so we decided to cancel our Trip.
I mailed them on 14th of June, got a response mail on the same day, where they told me that they have cancelled my booking and that they will send me my money back within 14 days.
I got the refund 3 days later on my credit card. I really cant complain about this company.

Good and fast Customer Service

I booked two rooms in a hotel in Santiago de Chile, as I wanted to visit some of my family members. I normally dont book over internet sites, but this time I had to because it was just much much cheaper.
As I received the confirmation + the voucher I saw that I booked the wrong hotel, which wasn´t near the area where I wanted to be.
I immediately contacted the customer service via Email and they answered me very quickly. They cancelled my booking and booked the hotel where i actually wanted to stay. No costs were charged and everything went better then expected.

CLEVER-HOTELS.COM WORST COMPANY EVER TOTAL FRAUDS DON'T USE

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY UPFRONT AND DON'T DELIVER- READ REVIEWS ON TRIP ADVISOR, FACEBOOK, TWITTER AND MANY OTHERS. OVERNIGHT THEY HAVE DELETED ALL BAD REVIEWS FROM FACEBOOK AND NOW NO LONGER ALLOW YOU TO SHARE ON THEIR WALL.....................!!! Their customer helpline doesn't exist!! They don't respond to emails!! You turn up at hotels with voucher and hotel inform you that they haven't paid their bill so you have to pay all over again. I have reported them yesterday to Trivago and finally after 10 emails Trivago have got involved and helping me to get FULL refund even though they charge a 20% surchage of total cost. DESPICABLE company who do this time and time again..........they think deleting my comments will shut me up but i have taken screen photos of ALL NEGATIVE COMMENTS on there mine and others and on twitter...........BE WARNED YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY IF YOU BOOK WITH THEM. They suggest a wesite to new customer to see their 'GOOD' (bogus) reviews but this website is paid for by travel agents who can choose which reviews to use!!! HOW DO YOU SLEEP AT NIGHT CLEVER-HOTELS.COM..............im sure your constant liquation of companies then restarts will run out of time soon........................DISGUSTING COMPANY I will repost if my money gets recredited in the 3 days they have stated but this time instead of writing to me in English like they did before with contracts they have sent the whole lot in German!! Stupid idea as my lawyer is German and based in Hamburg where they say they are based.Will be happy to write this review once this settled so CLEVER-HOTELS.COM do what you say and refund my money NOW!!
