We have had a Clearview orangery now for 8 years and it’s still like new. Now Spring is finally here, we spend a lot of our time in it and it looks out over the garden. It’s not too hot or cold as with a conservatory as the glass roof has some sort of coating on it. Any warranty issues are also sort without quibble

Used Clearview 10 years ago for the construction of an orangery. Everything was well planned and constructed.
During the intervening years minor problems have arisen. They have always been dealt with very promptly to rectify the issues.
Special thanks to Tim

I recently had to call out Clearview to remedy a small issue I had with our fantastic conservatory. The service team were so helpful and the technicians knew exactly what they were doing, it's what I've come to expect from these good Lancashire people.

“Clearview Home Improvement built my kitchen extension excellently a few years ago. Even after five years, when there was a roof leak, they attended promptly and fixed the issue. Their aftercare service is excellent.”

Great experience right from the start from visiting the showroom for ideas through to the demolition of our old conservatory and the construction and installation of our kitchen extension. The whole project was delivered within the estimated timeframe and to a quality high standard. Thank you to all involved.

From start to finish everything went according to plan. I sent for the brochure on doors and windows and I could choose the doors, colour and glass etc with the sales team who came to my house. I was given a date when the doors would be fitted. They stuck to the date. He came on time and once completed he took the old doors away and cleaned up. A brilliant firm to work with.

I was pleased with the customer service and work by the engineers from start to finish. The salesman and the surveyor explained a lot to me and answered all my queries. From ordering my new composite doors to completion was less than 4 weeks. I did find a small snag in one of my doors but this was rectified very quickly. I have had lots of ‘wow’ comments about my new composite front door, I chose Stormy Seas Linden Farmhouse with Tectronic glass. No hesitation in recommending the Clearview team at Leyland.

I had a issue with my bathroom window that was sorted so swiftly. I would highly recommend Clearview

Used Clearview to replace > 20 uPVC windows as we thought we would get a high quality product and installation with the advantage of a project manager so we were prepared to pay their premium price.
Nothing could be further from the truth. Nearly 6 months to complete what was originally a 4 day installation.
Poor planning, no scaffolding until half way through planned job - installers gone by 10am as a result, multiple manufacturing and installation issues, replacements for damaged windows/ frames ordered incorrectly, privacy glass installed wrong way around, installers walking on carpets with no dust sheets … I could go on. Installer of the year awards a joke. Communication was appalling, with the project manager missing in action and not answering calls or requests to speak to her. Multiple missed appointments and other days wasted as installers returned with the incorrect parts so beware if you are not retired or do not work from home. Would not recommend.

Its hard to know where to begin with the appalling experience we have had. Will cover the main points for the purpose of warning those thinking of using Clearview.
Had our conservatory roof changed to a warm roof. This was done during the worst weather and the property was left overnight with not one attempt at any protection. Long story short this caused significant water damage to the walls, floor, electrics and Internet. Needed taking back to brick. Our project manager left and when we finally got hold of our new one he said they wouldnt cover repair of floor. Took legal advise and had to write to them to explain their responsibilities under the LAW to get the damage repaired. I wont go into all the details as you'd be here all day listening to the dire experience but will cover the main points.
- Communication is awful. Good luck trying to get hold of your project manager who will be based elsewhere (ours was Manchester - 2 hours from where we live). They also leave the company and you are blissfully unaware and trying to ring them for weeks, until you try head office to find out what's going on. Contractors will not turn up when expected (when you've taken time off work) and others will turn up out of the blue when you're at work. Lack of communication applies up the chain of command - requested multiple times to speak to our project managers boss (the Operations Director) but to this day he has never been in contact with us. Was told "he doesn't talk to customers so it'll just be me" (from Project Manager). Reached out to them on socials to try and just speak to someone when Project Manager was AWOL, Marketing Director also failed to ring me when she told me via message she would. You just get passed back to your project manager even though they are part of the problem.
- Quality of work is terrible. What they do is subcontract to another company (in our case Storm based in Whitehaven 1.5hrs away from us) who then find the cheapest possible local guy to come and do the job. No care taken and no pride in works. Won't go into details but just think cowboy builders and you're in the right area.
- Work is painfully slow. What they advertise as "5 day roof change from start to finish" took us 18 weeks and we did so much chasing ourselves. Had a half repaired room for Christmas. Dont worry though, they are super fast at getting in touch with you when they want paying!
I hand on heart, need to warn anyone thinking about using Clearview to seriously reconsider. The stress and worry we have endured has been beyond what we ever thought would happen and we deeply regret using the company. The financial worry was also put on us over Christmas when they refused to repair the damage and we had to fight tooth and nail to just get the room put back to normal after they left the room open to torrential weather. I never, ever want to come across this company again so take heed!

What a fantastic experience! We took a long time to think about getting an extension fitted to our house and got many quotes but ultimately felt like the security of going to Clearview would give us worked best for us. The whole experience has been unbelievable within 6 weeks our extension is complete and to an incredibly high standard. The contractors used where impeccable in their detail and standard. The whole team at clear view were so organised with everything, from start to finish the whole build has been so easy. They even came and gave everything a thorough clean inside and out at the end which was an unexpected bonus!

Had a new front door in January. After 3 visits to rectify where there is a draft, another issue appeared. Promised a senior engineer today and he never turned up. Avoid this company. Each time I ring it is always a 2 week wait. Makes you wonder how many items they have going wrong

From the sales process, to the measuring up, to the installation I couldn’t fault Clearview in the slightest. All the people were polite and friendly and I was kept updated on progress every step of the way. Great service and very pleased with the product.
