Memories
This annual brought back long forgotten faces and memories of my 1966 graduation. There were notes in the annual from friends of the original owner of this Annual. Thanks for making it available.

The website has deceptive business…
The website has deceptive business practices as I was led to believe they had information on a specific school I was looking for. There was absolutely nothing. I was on for 5 minutes and realized I'd been taken.
Save your money as it isn't worth it.

Do not use this service!
As many have written reviews about their Experience, I received an offer for three months for $10. There wasn't any mention of an auto renewal in the offer, just 3 months for $10! I received an email from PayPal that I had been charged $21.60 for an auto renewal, I did not sign up for a trial and auto renewal afterwards, it was just 3 months for $10! I have called and completed forms and all they state is that they stand by their no refund policy! What type of customer service is that, NONE!!!!

SCAMMER!
I am in the same situation as is so many others. They auto renewed without my consent, and have a no refund "policy". Since I cannot prove I did not have auto-renew on my account, PayPal will do nothing. Under no circumstances should you provide any form of payment to these people. They will continue to charge you, which is why they have a no refund policy! SCAMMER!

Joined Classmates and was DROPPED. A FEW WEEKS AGO, I GAVE I A,SECOND TRY. ONLY THIS TIME ,I MADE THE MISTAKE OF JOINING FOR 2 YEARS. CLASSMATES IS NOTHING BUT A SCAM THAT THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU SHOULD SHUT DOWN.
Check for automatic renewals
Classmates automatically renews paid memberships at more than double the initial rate and then has a no refund policy even if you catch it the same day. They would not still be in business if they had a fair refund policy. Make sure automatic renewal is turned off in your account settings. It is turned on by default.

Use Facebook instead to reunite
Besides being an auto-renewal scam, Classmates.com is a website consisting mostly of ads to upgrade to their paid service. You can, for free, view photos posted by the scarce few classmates that bother to pay to use their services. I graduated with a class of over 700 and I saw maybe six names I recognize. I've reunited with so many more on Facebook AND without dealing with illegal credit card charges.
Do not give credit card to these…
Do not give credit card to these people, do not. As soon as you sign up on a trail you should cancel before you forget because they rely on you forgetting. They will bill you without an email to ok it. Scam

WARNING—Classmates.com automatic renewal
WARNING—Classmates.com automatic renewal systemI just discovered a charge on my credit card.
I never received a notice of any kind that there was an auto-renewal or that my cost for two years would double from $48 to $96. I contacted them about the charge and they refused to refund me.
If you want to stay with Classmates you should check if you have their auto renewal plan and change it.
I urge anyone with a complaint about classmates.com to file with the Attorney General’s office in Washington State where they are located as well as the Better Business Bureau.
Classmates auto pay is a scam
I joined Classmates on trial introductory offer about 2021 with a low payment. 3/19/2022-2023 payment was $30 for year. Just saw credit card for 3/19/23 to 3/19/24, and they charged me $60 for the year. It doubled. They say cannot refund, and have canceled as of 3/19/24. They show I was on auto pay and that they sent a notice about a month prior to see if I was staying in or opting out. Don't even remember seeing it. I told them to cancel now, but deduct what it would cost for month of March only. They said they cannot do this. I have disputed charge with credit card, but Classmates state may not have refund.
Scammed on Auto renewal
Scammed on Auto renewal. They charged me even with it turned off.
Simply an auto renewal scam
This site is simply an auto renewal scam. I informed them within minutes of being charged for auto renewal that it was not my intention to opt in, and did not know to opt out, of my trial. Of course I should've known to opt out, so they aren't unlike other companies that make money from auto renewal, but I informed them within minutes meaning I did not take advantage of any of their site's services or products or whatever else they offer prior to informing them but they still declined my request for a refund. $21.50 spent to know to never do business with Classmates.com or any company affiliated with Classmates.com ever again? That's fine, cheap information.
DON'T SIGN UP
Was charged for a recurring membership after it was cancelled. NO REFUNDS UNDER ANY SITUATION. RIDICULOUS.
Auto Renewal Fraud
I had a free account with classmates.com and then they processed an "auto renewal" but instead of continuing the free account and changing me zero dollars they upgraded me to a paid account and charged me $96! This is not a renewal this is a scam - no wonder they have such a low rating and so many complaints - I should have researched more - BAD BUSINESS.
nudity on classmates?
looking aT pics of people i knew from school all of a sudden an alumni i hardle know pops up with a nude photo! not flattering..awful! contacted them thinking i was doing correct thing being concerned person's account had been hacked they gave double talk and in fb message said anyone everyone "entitled to their beliefs??" last time i call or get concerned about anyone on this site! an unflattering nude thinking i was doing the right thing...they did not even contact this person!! not good. not going outta my way ever..again! spare me the preaching..at least let this senior citizen know about this unflattering pic! what if her account has been hacked?? not my problem anymore! charging her pic..their reaction up to ignorance!
I called to cancel my 85 y/o moms…
I called to cancel my 85 y/o moms account and get a refund of the yearly fee they auto charged 2 weeks ago. My mother doesn't use classmates and can't even see the computer screen. The supervisor said she'd been using it, but it was me trying to find out if she had an account after seeing it on her discover bill. Mom wasn't using it and didn't have a password to get in. I had to make a password to even see if she had an account. I told her all this and the supervisor argued with me until I was totally frustrated and hung up. Classmates trains their supervisors to be cold, callous, and greedy. This is a company that is taking advantage of elders.
Beware of Classmates.
Was billed in Dec for renewal on subscription. Disputed a partial charge since it seemed high. The bank investigated and said it was legit, however Classmates did not turn back on the subscription. I know this because a I received emails requesting payment. I contacted them on 1/23 asking them for a refund since I had no subscription since Dec. No refund.
Completely useless and irrelevant SCAM website
MAYBE 30 years ago Classmates.com might have possibly been a useful and relevant website but here in the 21st century with social media giants providing MUCH better features -- allowing users to look up, connect, post / view personal media and communicate with just about anybody, anywhere in the world FOR FREE, Classmates.com archaic website and features ( available ONLY with a paid subscription ), is about as relevant and useful as a rotary-dial telephone.
I signed up for a free Classmates.com account just to see what was available and, within 10 minutes, knew that the time I spent enrolling was nothing more than a wasted 10 minutes. Want to see a classmate's profile? Subscribe to a "premium" account. Want to see who visited your profile? Subscribe to "premium"account. Want to message someone? You guessed it, sign up for a "premium" account. Literally NOTHING on Classmates.com is free. In comparison, went to FB, searched for my high school classmates, sent Friend Requests and have connected with several without spending a single penny.
I personally can't think of a single "pro" to mention about Classmates.com and, based on other reviewers comments concerning "unauthorized billing", inability to stop recurring charges, no refunds ( even though the recurring charges were supposedly stopped ) and, useless customer support, Classmates.com appears to be more of a money-grabbing scam website than anything else.
Classmates,com is a scam
Classmates, com is a scam. They emailed me that people were trying to reach me. They were not. No one was sending me email in the Classmate.com account. Classmates sends your account email, then claims that you have email waiting for you. There were people listed in my class who were never in my school or my class. They are in the business of selling phony subscriptions and they do not refund your money. They point out their no refund policy. Bad company. Dishonest scam. Don't do it.
