Never again! On arrival to collect the car i was informed of additional theft insurance required in order to hire the car. I was also told that the deposit I paid to economy bookings when I reserved the car was not received by Classique even though i showed my card statement to him and my confirmation email clearly stated balance due on pick up was minus the deposit!! The balance as per paperwork was £300+ but I was now being told I had to pay another £200+!!! Have you over a barrel as they know you need the car. I had to raise a dispute with my CC re the deposit paid and claimed to not been recieved. The car I was given was shit. Took it back as the AC did not work. They then offered 2 separate cars to exchange and both were shabby! One car had the wing mirror held together with tape! Totally unacceptable. Ended up keeping the original car after they claimed they gassed up the AC. But the car was still shit and also had poor power even when gas pedal floored. Quite embarassing when people are behind you and the car is going slow especially uphill. We just put up with it and gladly returned it. Will never ever ever use Classique nor would I recommend them!

Booked a car with this company via Economy Bookings for my Jamaica holiday. They wanted to add on $400 USD for theft protection at point of getting car. No mention of this previously or that the theft cover included in the full cover Insurance I purchased from Economy Bookings was two separate things and that I wouldn’t be able to get the car without purchasing the theft protection from them. Tried to resolve matter with Economy Bookings and this was pointless. In the end decided to pay the increase which would take my booking from $749 usd to $1,100 usd.
However despite calling solidly for over an hour no one answered the phone at Classique rentals so gave up and was left without a car
