I recently purchased an Edna lamp from Clanbay, and while the initial product had a poor quality finish, I was very impressed with their customer service. After raising a concern and providing some photos, the company arranged for a replacement promptly. All communication was handled within 48 hours of each email, making the entire process smooth and efficient. Clanbay is a good company and very easy to engage with. Despite the initial issue, their responsiveness and commitment to resolving the problem have earned my trust.
Product was supposed to be in stock but clearly wasn’t. The company does not have a contact number and only responds to your enquiries by email and not within the time they state
What type of company doesn’t have a live customer service number, humm this one

I ordered Duchess Side Tables as a gift for my son. We are very happy with the tables but extremely disappointed with the service/communication we experienced with Clanbay. The fact that they took 3 weeks to arrive is not our issue. I emailed them and raised two tickets via their website simply asking for an estimated delivery time. No response to my email. I received an email almost 10 days after placing the order to say they hadn't forgotten about my order but still no delivery timescale. They said that if I wanted further updates just to reply to the email - which I did with no response. No response to my second ticket raised. All I wanted was simply an indication of when to expect the delivery. Finally I received a message from DPD to say that the tables were about to be delivered. Certainly not the level of service I would have expected and this alone means it will be extremely unlikely that I would order from then again.
Following the above review I miraculously received an email from this company. This appeard to say that they had in fact responded to my email and tickets and I could have viewed this on their website - completely inaccurate. They also implied that gmail filtered their emails into spam/junk - incorrect. Strange that a response was only received by email when a very negative review is posted.

Everything went well from ordering to delivery ( big thank you to the really nice delivery man).
Easy to order over the Internet.
Regular e mails regarding status of the item which was EXTREMELY well packed and delivered in good order.

If I could give 0 I would! Please don’t buy from this company! Their customer care is so poor and after an expensive item falling apart within a couple of months, they don’t do anything about it because their faulty policy only covers up to 10 days. So usual but now I am stuck with a poor quality, expensive item that is falling apart after a couple of months. Buy elsewhere… you’ll regret ordering through Clayban.
They also claim they have a 5* rating on trust pilot… it’s 2.5!!!!

Edit after a reply from Clanbay: They seem to reply on here but not to any queries raised directly on their website. They made up some nonsense about customs holding up my package in Austria but never shared a tracking number or any other sort of comms that I can use to get in touch with customs as they direct me to. I have tried to reach out to them with no success. I am still without my item or my money almost 6 weeks on. My original review continues from here: The website is a scam. I paid €50 for an item on the 20th of December, it’s now the 27th of January and nothing has arrived. I submitted a ticket on their website to get some information more than a week ago and I didn’t even get an acknowledgment that a query had been raised. Of course there is also no telephone number I can call so I’ve basically been robbed of €50.

Very disappointed I fell for this trap website. I ordered on the 28th of June and got an order confirmation email but never received any other communications from them and never received my product. I emailed them, raised a ticket and even reached out on Instagram and have not had any response and will clearly never receive my product. $130.99 I'll never get back.

Clanbay are not the best in the world at communicating. They will say they have emailed you and they havn't. They have no telephone number on which to contact them. Address on website is not where the business is

Reading the comments below about clanbay made me suspicious .
My experience with them was great. My item was very fragile and risky to travel from UK to France.
I was able to communicate with them by chat anytime.
My item was dispatched as referred to my order within 2 weeks of delay.
3-5 days to France by TNT . Extremely well packed and very satisfied of my mirrored console.

My initial reaction on receiving my feather ornament was disappointment due to the finish of product.
Then ...it cost £20 ...so you get what you pay for.
But when I grouped it with 2 of my other ornaments...I loved the result!
And didn't see any flaws at all.
Very pleased. A little delay with delivery, but would definitely buy from Clambys again.

Don’t buy from this company!!It’s a scam basically.Poor quality furniture.Awful customer service!They ignore emails .I opened case to paypal,they refuse to refund.When you write a negative review to Facebook or Instagram ,they block you. Avoid!!!

Awful quality of product and even worse response from their customer service team. We received a faulty / damaged bathroom wall cabinet and was told we were outside a 10 day clause (?) Which meant we could not do anything. The only solution they had was to purchase the item again. When I asked to speak to someone more senior their response was shafty and they basically cut off correspondence. We have renovated our whole house this last 9 months and this company has been by far the worse in managing issues with their products

The step stool is beautifully made. It was very well packaged for delivery, so no damage. It’s lightweight but perfectly sturdy and I feel very safe when using it.
The product was exactly as advertised and I am more than satisfied.

I ordered a vase and the wrong colour arrived. I didn’t have much luck with the ticketing system, so I emailed customer support directly and they were very apologetic and acted swiftly to resolve the issue. I’m very satisfied with the service I received in the end.
The product is lovely too - as described and shown on the website.
I would use this company again.
Having read other reviews, it seems others have had problems with the ticketing system. This is a shame as it seems to be letting a good company down.
Definitely recommend emailing them if you have an issue with your order.

When another supplier let me down, Clanbay was the only one which had the particular product (a bathroom cabinet) which I needed. This meant that the order had to travel internationally and I was a little worried it would arrive safely. But the communication was good, they let me know about probable arrival time and were also anxious that I was happy with my item. It arrived in good time and within their stated time frame, was well packed and is in good condition. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I gave 3 stars because I thought the item was a bit pricey for what it was, I also came with no fixings just 2 holes which were very awkward to get to, but once up it did look very nice in my bathroom.
